---HISTORY---
*~*~*Before #259*~*~*
He has lived a life of grand luxury that was until his family was caught in a mysterious fire that started when Gabriel was about the age of seven. Gabriel was the only surviver, too young in fact to recall the escaping shadows of the bass family. Gabriel spent much of his time from then onwards on the streets, not running from his past but fighting to avenge it. From then on out he joined several gangs including the Nazis; not following their philosophies but using their strength to rise through the ranks and challenge all those whom opposed him.
So as a more detailed summary of what happened after his family died. Gabriel Seran lived with a middle class housewife known as Maria Shieder, she was a lonely women who'd been an old friend of the Seran's for quite a time. Though she'd fallen into debt and took lones from drug runners and city gangs, one such gang came one night and took Gabriel from his sleep, that was when he was fourteen. Beaten an abused night after night for what seemed an eternity he developed a second sense, a survival instinct you could call it which embedded itself as the identity of Reven, This Reven was not the weak human soul of Gabriel no, he was blood thirsty, deranged, and callous beyond the extent of the word. After being admitted into the coven of the blade (the gang which abducted him) Reven extended his power in the gang by murdering several rival families ultimately giving him respect from leader heads and inspiring fear to any opposition. Before the age of 16 he became a head leader of the gang, Reven then lead to killing all other heads of power and burning the HQ to the ground with most members inside, That night he laughed, laughed with more evil than hell could contain.
Not more than a few months later the Nazis grasped this killer, they offered him riches beyond his imagination, all he desired was the power behind it all...
He turned 17, Nazi HQ in LA burned to the ground, a dark figure laughed as he spit on the ruble which remained, and the rotten smell of corpses stunk up the air.
Reven returned to tie up the loose ends, this Maria still lived, he marched to her house with a Browning BDM and pointed it at the back of the woman's head. The hammer can back with a click.
"May God have mercy on your soul...." She said.
"You'll have to take that up with him..." Reven's cruel lips lashed as he malignantly snarled.
****Bang*****
It rang in his ears, the sound still echoes, a ringing that never leaves.
Gabriel Seran woke up in tears, in a place he hardly knew, clothes stained with blood.....his own?
He had received a gunshot wound to the shoulder just above his heart. Just before passing out he heard it again, the laughter....
He woke again in a hospital, not sure where he was, now he didn't care, he just wanted to sleep.
"Who is he?" a voice rang in the darkness
"Not sure just can in middle of the night screaming." an adjacent shadow replied.
"He's just a kid,"
"I know...." now that was the doctor.
Another blackout.
Bang. The laughter still coming back, a shadow with dark eyes glaring at him from the flames, it says "I will never stop....I am your destiny..."
Gabriel's eyes adjusted a home? Not his home?
A tall woman entered the room, her hair glossed in golden brown, skin pink as blossoming tulips, her hand graced Gabriel's hair, a motherly tender touch;
"Wake up; it’s time for you to start..."
Start? Start what?
Gabriel merely rolled over and scrunched in the corner of 'his' bed,
A ginger laugh escaped her breath.
"Time for school, be up in five minutes or I’ll be back."
School?
After all this crap?
*~*~*Public High School #259*~*~*
259 was a completely new experience for Gabriel Seran, school had always been easy to him having had private classes since an early upbringing though in a violent school there was danger everywhere. That asn't even much of a big issue to him, in fact strength and power was one of his major goals he sought after and in a war riddled community there was so much room to improve and grow. Hurdles stood in his way, one of which was the Pillars which were introduced to him by an ambitious young man by the name of Jonathan Winters also known as "Unfettered." This man had proven to be Gabriel's first ally in the future expansion of his own dreams, through all things the man pressed him into danger and had given him the position of strategist and later second in command of his gang "The Militia," whose goal was to remove the pillars and run a militia force to keep order with limited violence. In time all seemed to go well till transfers arrived at their school. Gabriel didn't see this as a threat merely a reason to get stronger as for the others they felt greatly intimidated by these transfers and sought out means to destroy them and control their great power. Such was the goal of "Unfettered."
Gabriel's trails brought him to meet many new people including his first great rival, David Blaze; The two had an unusual first meeting where they immediatly conflicted. Gabriel sought any means to change, whereas David wouldn't change unless it came from noble solutions. From that point onward Gabriel challenged himself to be stronger than him. He vowed to beat out the rest and push his limits to become more than just an underscore. His second rival was a young woman by the name of Bastille Cunningham, their first occurance had been under hostile situations. She had been racially against him for being French and her Engish and the two where locked in a bitter war ever since.
Upon his entrance into the Militia Gabriel found closer alliances with the newer members as well. Emily, a great ally to him through everything. In their time at 259 they spent it training more often with her than any others. Gabriel was weaker but through time he began to close the distance standing as an equal in time. Rem, another friend in battle, the two were each level headed and sought the same goals the only difference was Gabriel didn't toy with child's games.
The major conflict they found at 259 was the battle against the enforcers which Gabriel found his way into taking out his fair share in the name of the Militia. Those who could not hold their own against the Enforcers found themselves dragged off to the Correctional Facility. The Facility was an iron clad fortress, unbreakable... Or so it was lead to believe. "Unfettered" sought a means, and Gabriel wanted an end.
The day came where the students charged in and made an all out assault on the Facility taking a heavy beating though fighting out agaist the inhabitants and destroying everything in their paths. In time the Facility was broken and their captives let loose. Gabriel however had been knocked out in the battle and a foe named Deta Teyfour his only competitor.
As the last hours of 259 ticked by Gabriel sought fit to recover and make best of his training. In a month he'd excelled to the point where all his competition was. He felt for once that he was a threat. Though in actuallity he had no idea... An earthquake struck and knock 259 into disrepair and the inhabitants were made to leave.
*~*~*Moral Crest 42*~*~*
Upon Gabriel's transfer to Moral Crest he found himself drenched in the updraft of politics. Rem had sought fit to attain dictoral control over the Militia in "Unfettered's" absence. While the battle against the transfer's who had now become the student hierarchy was still raging on this was a huge issue to take into account. Gabriel rightly opposed it, there was no way they'd be indoctrinated into a single rule system, David Blaze and him found a common ground in that fact stating that theri should be a triumverate to rule mirroring he pillar system that they were fighting against. Though in the meeting itself Gabriel found that he would leave preventing a fight. Thereof ending his union to the Militia.
In his absence from the Militia Gabriel went about drafting members to his cause and standing out against the strong to defend the weak. His first move was against the pillars themselves, burning a signal flair to attract them and he took them all one, 3 vs one the fight didn't last long as he found himself beaten back. Though in the end his goal was attained, attention. In a span of a month he spread himself about the school drafting upwards of 20-30 people into his gang along with several other businesses and organizations. His goal was coming to an appex point. The Black Knights was formed as his honor guard was chosen and the group united under a single banner, they were ready to stand out against the pillars one thing however was required of them. Union with the scattered Militia.
Gabriel attempted negotions with them however his other half succeeded in getting the better of him reaking havoc upon their leaders. They no longer trusted him and a scar appeared upon his perfect record of power.
There was however a brief period of rest amongst the warring sides. Gabriel sought fit to rest and prepare for the coming battle he already knew the conclusion to. He stumbled unto a small girl, Olivia Green. Over the few weeks he'd grown infatuated with her enough so that it could be used against him. He buckled under the need to succeed and attain power and destroyed relations with her. In that action he sought the necessary ties to bring the hierachy down around their leader. Gabriel plotted till he found her, Reira. His key to victory, timing himself appropriotly he fine tuned their relationship to fit the needs he wanted to accomplish. Though in all the hasty plotting and ideals he found a common affection for her knowing clear well in the end he would not harm her.
Ground Zero, yes the moment it all came full circle, Gabriel challenged the pillar Matrim and used his ties to coordinate an assault on him with rapid results. The battle was long and tremulous but in the end Gabriel found himself with his back against the wall. He had to use the key, one he had so dreaded on using. He pulled Reira from the crowd and threatened her unborn child. The reaction was one he'd grown dissappointed, Matrim had become something that Gabriel had once been. Power hungry. In the end, Gabriel chose to save her life, to save his foes life as well and in the end he harbored all the blame and hate of everyone. And in the end, he had nothing....
Weeks later he found her again, Olivia, the two came to a peaceful end together and she had given everything up at the end dying before Gabriel. He read her note becoming lost in it's words.
Gabriel found himself lost but driven, furry and purpose surging inside him it was all hopeless but in that sense where Olivia would rather choose death over life destroyed him and recreated a new goal, not power, nor corruption but hope for a better tomorrow.
In the following months Gabriel halted his scemes depleting the causes of the Black Knights to spread their causes for a better purpose and change things to greater means. Matrim however sought fit to ruin that cause and violate his space. In an attempt to kidnap his cousin Gabriel came out of his recluse and fought back against the oppressive Captain. This time he was aided by his lost rival, David and him could do anything together if they only came to terms.
At a time where things were at the end of their rope it all rested at the Semi-Final round of the tournament where Matrim's insanity became apparent.
Once Gabriel made it away from the crumbling disaster that was overtaking Moral Crest now Gabriel had to break for home once more. Back home, it felt odd calling that place he'd lived for such a short while home...
*~*~*Public High School #259: The Return...
Gabriel returned home, this time to a place changed by ruin and torment, he'd found nothing where he'd gone plans crumbled burned in the wake of his retreat. It was obvious he'd perhaps not remain here long not worth a chance but in years now his abilities had shot forth tenfold. More powerful than they'd ever been before it was incredible how the once complacent people of 259 fell to his boots. Some students returned with him, the Black Knights slowly grew to its old ranks with easy gain.
Gabriel even challenged Mitsuki Park for the Captain title only to back down by the end, however a mistake on his end she was different than he'd expected, strange in the sense he could not read nor manipulate her as well as most others in fact he was baffled.
Ignoring her for the time he watched as Moral Crest survivors fled from the wreck of a school even its Captain falling from the place. Pathetic he couldn't hold a school together seeing the place fall to ruin and retreat here. Gabriel expected the same fate. Soon enough however David Blaze took the title once more, the rival of Gabriel always standing in opposition however this time Gabriel could match him.
In due time Gabriel challenged the school's strongest of fighters, Leon Sudeki and claimed his position as the Nova Dragon. And soon after defeating Blaze for the Captain's title with the help of a brute by the name of Katsuri Katashi. Of course the "Fight" turned into Blaze simply throwing the title something Gabriel found as an amusing display of foregone honor.
*~*~*Failed Republic*~*~*
Having been fully integrated back into 259's system Gabriel had set himself as the number one enemy of the state. He'd thoroughly pissed off the former hierarchy (David Blaze, Emily Santos, & Kazuya Hikari) and was now beginning to add questionable alliances to his fray. In all honesty he wanted the hierarchy crushed and the ashes left smoldering in his wake, but to do that he had to do something different even outlandish. He kept his promise with David Blaze and opened up a public forum, to discuss the dissolution of the pillar system. However things went amok. The masked figure Scene appeared (suspected to be David Blaze in disguise seeing as he wasn't at the meeting), and was courted by Gabriel's 2nd Katsuri Katashi; the two saw fit to double team Gabriel leaving them all crushed beneath the force of combating strengths while the rest of the people fled.
The Republic had failed.
However Gabriel was not deterred, he saw fit to concluding this progression in due time. Though time seemed dwindling as David Blaze reemerged to challenge Gabriel, the conclusion left both men weakened to near death but David came out with the victory relying upon several fruits that bolstered his abilities. However in recovering Gabriel's status nearly doubled due to the incalculable training efforts thus following.
*~*~*Reign of Terror*~*~*
As Gabriel recovered of his injuries he decided to cover those few things in his life that were falling to pieces during his reign, if he was supposedly to reign over 259 he needed solace in his personal life. During the scape of his Captainship, he'd suffered two break ups first with Alexis and then with Reira. Crushed and smoldering Gabriel saw fit to burn and leave most things in his wake however he composed himself. In that time he made peace with Reira consoling to be simply friends, whereas Alexis was a much harder tale. Truth be told he fell in love with the girl during their escapades as friends and in the droll sense of his existence found that he'd been cheating her. Only thinking about himself in a selfish means. In time the pair found their way back to one another, only with the occasional bitter stalemates in between.
Meanwhile The Pillar title was under contestation once more as David Blaze handed it down to Emily Santos for protection and leadership, something of which Gabriel did not approve and predicted its ending date. Soon as the title was handed like a vulture Matrim Gallagher swooped down to take it, Emily with all too weak a pride to fight to the bitter end. It would seem as though Moral Crest was just about to recur once more.
In the shadows Gabriel Seran lurked training with his new band of soldiers. Kevala Katashi at its lead loyally companioning towards the same goal, Gilgamesh Magnius but seconds away as well. Not to mention the efforts of Victor, Masaru, and Alexis aiding towards the end goal once more.
