//Hold on slow down again from the top now and tell me everything//Abel took the liberty of unplugging her alarm clock and moving her into her own room. Curled up in her bed, she slept until around noon, not surprising since she was exhausted from the previous nights goings ons. Turning over, she'd end up falling out of bed. Opening her eyes slowly, Hilde rolled onto her side and got up slowly, forgetting about her hand, she'd push up off the ground with her left hand. Stretching her hand and obtaining a fist full of pain. She probably broke it open again, setting the healing process back a little. FECK. She'd shower and get ready, looking out the window before she realized. OH SHITe! It was noon, leaving her with the decision... To go to school for the remainder of the day or to out right skip... Oh the troubles in making a choice. BA HA HA HA. Skip it was. Hilde prepared herself and headed out, time to wander the streets. She was a little bummed out, yet she couldn't shake the feeling that there was something following her. It was an eerie feeling, so she found herself often looking over her shoulder. Those who passed her on the street probably found the girl a little peculiar, so they'd ignore her and walk right past. Leaving poor Hilde alone with the wretched feeling. Sighing, she'd head in the library, it was time to grab a book or something to keep her calm and busy. book book book.

"Knight, Knight...Knight!" Weeks voice startled me as I was napping in one of the study rooms. "C'mon Knight, I don't pay you to sleep." I grunted then got up from the chair. 'Please, how much you pay me wouldn't even amount to a valet tip.' I thought as I exited the room.
Weeks told me that I needed to shelf some books and something else I didn't really care to catch it. Last night had me wiped; those damn Russians were better than the ones I fought against when I said my hello to Molotov. I expected blow back but for right now I was just trying to take it easy, one of them caught me in the chest and I more than likely fractured a rib. 'Oh well.' I thought as I walked up and down the isles.

The silence of the library accompanied by the florescent lighting could always lead people down the path of being tired. Silence leaving people feeling alone, if not for the low murmuring, the footsteps, tapping of keys, and finally the muffled cheers from children during story time. Taking a trip down fantasy, she'd stop near an entire bookshelf of Stephen King books. Hilde sighed and leaned on the shelf for a moment. Her red blue gaze searching for a title. She was looking for The Stand, after all the previous day, she'd spent time reading the comics.
Why not?
Suddenly she felt it again, like there was someone watching her. Looking around, the red haired girl sighed once more.. Noting she was in a library and there was always someone watching her. D< DON'T HURT THE BOOKS, DON'T TALK! and all that nonsense. Although what was worse the lights were starting to give her a headache. Sighing once more, Hilde grabbed the book and moved further down the isle, all while wondering what else to read.
DECISIONS DECISIONS!

'Okay...Stephen King...Ah here we go.' I thought to myself as I walked through the aisles into the section where there were nothing but his books. 'Man this guy must have a lot of demons.' I thought with a smirk, 'nice to know that one's not alone.' I looked up and saw someone looking through the books trying to find a specific one. "Excuse me?" I said, "Can I help you find something?"

HIlde was a little startled by the fact that there was a familiar voice in the library. One which.. OH HEY SHANNNEEEE!! Turning, she'd smile, surprised and yet not so, to see her dear friend Shane. Holding the stand close, she'd think for a moment. Could he help her? He did work in a library, maybe he could suggest a good book. That could help her.
OH WAIT.
There was a sudden dread. She knew he worked there, yet right after they had hung out, she showed up at his work place. Perhaps that seemed weird or something. Even though, she had actually forgotten all about it. Hilde still worried.
PUTTING THAT ASIDE.
"Yes, I was looking for a book. Something new, I thought I should pick up a second out of the norm book. In case the Stand is not to my liking. ha ha." Yes, she did talk to much in that moment, Hilde mentally kicked herself.
"How're you today Shane?"
Smile.Smile.

"Aside from a splitting headache I am good." I replied with a smile. I began looking through the books I had on my cart. "Here are a couple," I said holding afew out. "Kind of old but hey they call them classics for a reason." I said with a smirk.

Smiling, the red haired girl looked at her friend with a bit of worry. She hoped that he was okay, head injuries could be very bad, even if it was something like getting hit in the head. HE'D BETTER BE OKAY D< "Well, I'm sure the headache will pass soon. ha ha."
Taking the books, Hilde decided just to sign them all out. It's not like she wouldn't read'em all and have them returned on time. "Thanks, I can't wait to read them." She'd pause for a moment, the feeling of being watched lingered for a while longer. Being Hilde, she still just assumed it was the hawk librarians, questioning why their worker bee was stopped and talking. Or something.
"I shouldn't keep you too long, you are working. So I guess I'll head out." She'd chuckle and smile at him once more before heading down the isle. "I'll be sure to return them on time. Have fun working."
With that she was gone, off to the front desk, to check out her books and leave.
Where to next?
Ice cream and then the park.
Perfect place to read!

I smiled as she walked off; it's good to see that she was okay after last night. I watched her leave but before then I noticed something bothering her. 'I'll call her later when I get on my break.' I said to myself, and I went back to work. "Next time you stop working I'm docking you Knight." I heard weeks say. "She needed help with finding some books. It had nothing to do with the fact that she's a friend." "Heh, I've had those friends kid, be careful." "And I've had bosses like you." I said going slightly Knightmare, "I'd watch myself if I were you" He didn't say anything but I saw the look in his eyes and it shrunk.

Hilde smiled as she headed out, after checking out her books, they'd be hidden away safely in her messenger bag. Tucking her hands into the pockets of her trench coat, the girl walked forward. Heading down the street, she'd watch the busy parents of infants, of workers as they made their way down the sidewalk. Never looking any way but straight a head, Hilde couldn't help but find it strange... Yet at the same time it was completely normal, people always ignore those around them. Leaving an aura of: You aren't worth my time to smile at... or to acknowledge your existence.
Turning the corner she'd head into the convinence store and grab an ice cream cone and a bottle of mountain dew. Why not? Heading to the park, she'd get the feeling of being watched. Looking over her shoulder, to the left, the right, forward, turning around completely and looking behind her. People passed her, grumbling about something or another. She knew all to well that she probably looked a little odd. Being so paranoid, it wasn't normal, especially for the youth of the time.
That feeling won't go away... I wonder why...
Well well, isn't this getting interesting? Russians... or Knightmare? hmmmm.
Shrugging it off, the red haired girl moved forward, back on her journey to the park. With the only question that seemed to wander in her head was: what to read first? So many choices! The stand perhaps?
