And then, finally, he retaliated, and quite effectively too, going for Cain's leg with his free one, causing the Junior to abandon his assault on Shane for the moment in order to regain his balance and composure as he pulled his right leg to the ground, stopping his downfall as his left foot was kicked off Shane's. His left foot took a step back, followed by his right, the backward stagger a desperate attempt to keep his body on his feet. Well, that was a good escape. Cain grinned, his emerald hues returning to Shane as he watched the man create a reasonable space between them. Alright, then.
It did not seem that Shane was attempting to further his retaliation, staying on the spot. Cain understood the motion perfectly. Shane wanted Cain to make the move. With a soft nod of acknowledgment, the Junior pushed off his legs, moving off in incredible speed, scaling the distance between them in a few mere seconds, before stomping down on his left leg, twisting it in an anti-clockwise direction, allowing the rest of his body to follow, his right foot swinging around in a roundhouse kick to his waist.

'Too wide.' I thought smiling as I saw him move, he has speed and I'll give him that, but wide kicks like that? My bread and butter. His dash came as no surprise and his stomp was what set me off. I waited for the kick to come off the ground which by then it was too late to do anything else. As the kick went into the air I went on the attack. Leading with me right I took two half steps turning my right hand into a fist and pushing it forward, I brought my left hand up too and turned it into a fist as well as put it right next to my right forearm, this created a bit more of a stabilizing factor making the arm stronger for the impact.
The technique is from Xing Yi known as Pi Quan, metal fist, mimics the cutting power of an axe. The round house kick would still be flying, but if it connected to Cain's face it would knock him off, if not the kicks power would be non-existant as the two half steps brought him into Cain's space and if the kick connected it would be thigh on waist, not that effective. 'after that...' I was already getting the next set of moves to follow this for multiple scenarios.

Well, it seemed that this guy was a whole lot better than he made himself to be. Cain grinned, watching as the man executed an attack that seemed more martial than street. Apparently, this guy had been trained to fight through the ways of the East. Cain acknowledged that, knowing that this guy was going to be more technical and strategic than going outright striking. This was pretty much a battle between the two general styles of fighting. Oh yeah, epic.
Cain would lean his head back as the attack hit, allowing Shane's target to slide with the attack, thus minimising the blunt damage caused by the punch. However, it did put quite a bit of strain on the back of his neck, but nothing that would hinder Cain that much. Now, time for the counter. His kick had, of course, been weakened by that attack. However, instead, he would let it slide down Shane's leg, giving himself better leverage then as he executed his counter. He would jerk his head to the side, allowing him to go to the outer side of Shane's attack, as he threw a right uppercut at his solar plexus.
It mattered not how strong your muscles there were. An unhindered strike to the solar plexus always does a number on the recipient.

'Here's where the fun begins.' I thought as his kick slid down my leg. At this distance it is actually very hard to miss him preparing his arm for a strike, this led me to do this: I would turn my pi chuan to my beginning stance brinign my left down to intercept his arm at either the bend or his forearm. I would also extend my arm farther and turn it to a tiger claw and aim for his throat to grab or either strike.
Those moves of course are just a smoke screen have him focus on something while I moved in with a right knee to his crotch which thanks to his round house and sliding his leg down left wide open.
'This is why I love what I do.' Inwardly I smiled but I honsetly tried to stay focused.

And Cain's attack was blocked, but with it came an unexpected success and opportunity to take this fight into a more favourable spot. Cain's right fist was coming up to Shane's solar plexus, but had been halted in its path by the man's arms. Well, at least the hand was away now, allowing Cain to throw himself forward. Yes, he was going to ram his opponent down. With both legs on the ground, Cain was able to throw himself forward. At the same time, he would swing his left elbow inwards, aiming to smash it against Shane's head. And with Cain's body pressing against their interlocked arms and pinning them to his body, it would be hard to block this attack too.
However, Cain had not expected that attack to his crotch. Luckily, he had thrown himself forward, the knee hitting only further into his groin, barely missing his sensitive spots and hitting the spot right at the bottom center of the waist. Let's not get too descriptive here.
To say the least, it was quite numbing and Cain was forced to quickly leap off Shane, who would have fallen on the floor as he was only standing on one leg at that moment, the Junior rolling away quite awkwardly as he brought himself up on a knee, knowing that Shane would be getting up still too.
His right hand reached towards his groin as he pulled his legs together, the point of impact aching quite horribly.
Man, this guy's a jerk.
Cain slowly got up, bouncing on his feet slightly, both to push down the aching at his waist and also to build up momentum for movement.

'This has been fun.' I thought as he jumped off. Of course I was gonna hit the ground, I was on one leg! But as he rolled off it allowed me to get my butt off that ground. I smirked as he started to jump to ease the slight discomfort I did to him. "Pleasure to meet you my friend, we gotta do this again some time." I said as I started moving away from him waving before turning and started jogging.
'God I love this city.'

"Pleasure to meet you my friend, we gotta do this again some time."
"Wait. What?"
But before he could get an answer, the man would turn around and start jogging away, as if nothing had ever happened between them. Cain would raise an eyebrow as he stopped his hopping, staring at the man quite awkwardly. The man had just went up and left a fight just like that. Just what kind of person was he? At that, Cain furrowed his eyebrows. The fight was not yet over, but the man had withdrawn. Many would call this a victory, but Cain knew that until one of them was totally unable to fight, there would be no victor. He clenched his right fist as he threw it aside widely, catching an innocent passerby right in the face.
"What the fuck."
Cain would mutter as he took a step back, his eyes still on the departing person of Shane. He furrowed his eyebrows, glaring hard at him. And then, a deep chuckle would escape his lips as he pulled his right hand back to his side, before raising his head.
"Next time I see you, I'll make sure the fight ends."
Another mutter, more a promise to himself than to Shane. With that, and a grunt from his throat, the Junior too would depart. Next time... Next time won't be so easy for his opponent.
