Even before he said, Liana got that she wasn't going to be told much more then she already had. So with a small smile she dipped her head down into a shallow nod and drained the rest of her coffee as well. Other then smelling like a coffee bean now, the morning had been relatively pleasant, finding unexpected, but enjoyable enough company in Gabriel's peculiar presence.
Lia gracefully bowed out of asking curious questions for now figuring it would be all to clear to her sooner rather then later what exactly he was talking about exactly. Where she stood on the matter was undecided and hazy at best because she had no idea what she would be facing, but she supposed she'd find out soon enough. Usually though, if a matter didn't directly affect her or concern her she didn't purposefully get in the middle of it or go out of her way to make it her business.
However it didn't mean that she couldn't enjoy the company of who ever she wanted. Liana was a people person, a people pleaser - she liked to have people like her and she liked it when she made friends. Regardless there was no forcing anything when it came to her personality, she also wouldn't go out of her way to change her ideals to suit someone else. It was a fine line of sensibilities she walked to get everything she wanted, but knew she couldn't have it all - and there would be times when she ran into someone, in some type of situation that dictated someones dislike for her...for what ever reason.
"Of course you're absolutely right about that," she finally said after a moment to what he had to say. Even if this turned out to be a bad idea, convincing her parents to let her go to a public school - she had done it. And she wouldn't be backing out of it because she generally tried to stick to her convictions on certain things. Liana felt like she needed and wanted this - even if there was nothing normal about the entire thing...it would be enlightening nonetheless.
Sitting back in her seat she looked down at her stained tank top and frowned a little, her fingers plucking at the drying material, but obviously ruined now. Which was a shame because had actually liked the top. With a slight smile returning she started to rise, realizing over staying in someones company was never a good thing. "Well, thanks for the chat, and hopefully," she paused pushing back the chair with the back of her legs, "if we ever happen to run into each other, I won't be wearing my drink...or yours for that matter."
