Jacques walked down the hallway to his classroom, his briefcase in his left hand, his black coffee mug in his right hand. He reached his classroom and fumbled with the doorknob, managing to open it, and walked into the dark classroom, flicking the lights on. He placed his briefcase down on his desk and took a sip from his coffee mug, sitting down in his comfortable teacher's chair, as he waited for the students in his class to arrive. He leaned back in his comfortable teacher's chair as he heard the bell ring. That was the signal to students that class was going to start, and to those who were scrambling to get to class pronto. Or face the consequences. He placed his coffee mug down on his desk, which was located at the front of the room, he would be able to see every student who walked into his class, and spot those who thought they could get away with fooling around or sleeping in this class. He then picked up the student list that he was given, his eyes scanning down the list.
1. Kazuya Hikari 2. Hildegard Merquise 3. Kevala Katashi 4. Uriel Seran 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
He had quite a bit planned for this class, they would be reading some books he himself had read when he was in high school, as well as Shakespeare. He had dozens of soft cover books of the play he would be having the class experience in the book room in the back, and as soon as the class was informed of what they would be doing for this class, he would have them go and pick up a copy of the play from the back room. He then reached into his briefcase and pulled out his binder with all the course material in it as well as photocopies of the course outline on his desk. He then stood up, and walked to the white board behind him, pulled out the marker, and began to write his name down on the board, "Mr. Seran." He then turned around, and sat back down in his chair, and waited for the students to arrive.

Kazuya walked down the hallway, holding his book bag underneath his right arm, his other hand in the pocket of his track pants. Once he reached the classroom, he walked in, and stopped to read the name on the board, surprise, it's another Seran, oh joy. Kazuya then turned and headed towards the two rows of desk/seat combination located in the middle, in front of the teacher's desk, and lo and behold, he was the first one to arrive. He didn't know who else would be in the class, as he looked around, his gaze settling on the other person in the classroom, the teacher. "... Good morning Mr. Seran." Kazuya said to the teacher, as he made his way to his seat and sat down in the third seat in the left row.
He then pulled out his binder and pencil bag that he had used back in high school, at Public High School #259, and placed his book bag down on the ground before leaning back in his chair, as he casually shoved his hands into his pockets and slouched down a little, as he stared out the window, he wasn't paying attention to anything else around him. He yawned, looked at the clock, and resumed staring out the window. He just hoped other people would show up, he didn't want to be the only person here, well, the only student. A class of one isn't exactly fun. Not to mention very awkward.
Yeah, you get the point.

Blah. English. Reira wasn't very fond of the subject even though she had a forte for languages. Then again, English is her third language so her grammar isn't always perfect nor was her knowledge on the literature that were required reads in the earlier years of American education. However, it is required and she just hoped that she'll do well in the subjective course. Sometimes, she wished English was like math. There'll be a single answer and people won't dock marks off, whereas English, teachers can make plenty of reasons as to why someone's paper is garbage.
Reira had no intentions of being late, and she had arrived just after Kazuya had settled himself in the seat in the third row. She wondered if this class was for all grade levels, but she banished the thought as she quickly glanced at the board and smiled at the teacher.
"Good Morning Mr. Seran."
It was good to leave a good impression, but it wasn't as if Reira was trying hard, she was just polite to older authority figures. Yes, yes, sometimes she can be mannerly. Reira entered the classroom with her purse on her right shoulder, binder and notebook in arm and she sat near in the second row, near the door. If Kazuya looked over, she'll just wave, afterall he had helped out with the umbrella incident, although she wondered if he was still injured or not.
She placed her slim binder and notebook on the table before she took her pencilcase out of her purse and turned off the sound to her Blackberry. Class was going to start in mm, less than five minutes, or so it seemed as the bell rang.

Oh, god, that hurt.
Cain thought to himself as he rubbed the back of his neck with his right hand, the Junior proceeding to rotate his head by the join, a few soft cracks emerging with every jerk of the head. He had slept on the wrong side of his head and his neck was paying the consequences then, the Junior finding himself a tad bit more lethargic than usual, eye-bags now starting to form just under his eyes. He was wearing a plain white shirt, followed by a pair of blue denim jeans and his black Converse sneakers, looking as plain and casual as he did charming. Simplicity had its beauties sometimes, I guess. At that, Cain entered the classroom, allowing himself to yawn for a moment before looking inside. He would step forward and close the door behind him, his emerald hues finding the name on the board.
Seran? As in, Uriel Seran? Seran was not a really common surname, but it seemed that there was a lot of Serans in this school. Well... Cain only knew two, but for such an unusual surname, two was more than enough. He gave the teacher a nod as he moved towards the table, passing him his greeting.
"Morning, then, Mr. Seran."
Despite looking quite exhausted, he still sounded as crisp and firm as he was known to be, the School Captain having being used to the authority, respect and expectations required of him. It was then that he allowed himself to look over at his classmates for this session. And there was Kazuya, a man that had once challenged Cain's authority, in a way. Cain simply passed him a nod of his head, before turning to the other classmate. Reira, was it? Yeah, Cain remembered her. And he remembered Jay too. That insane lightning bugger. Seating himself down beside Reira, he gave her a short wave.
"Hey, so you're taking this class too, huh?"

Kale's boots would be heard as he neared the classroom, his right hand gripping the trap of his backpack as he lazily made his way into his next class. English, oh boy this was going to be so fun! Not. Kale wasn't too big on this class or any of this others, but he would have to suffer through it. He had made a promise to his uncle, and he would keep that promise. Those chocolate orbs would be glued to the floor as he wandered completely ignoring the teacher and his chalk board.
Kale's eyes would catch sight of a few familiar people. Reira was impossible to miss, but he was a little surprised to see her. He couldn't remember ever asking if she had been a student. And then there was Cain, the school captain. Re did recognize another kid as well, but his name seemed to escape him. For now Kale would just stick to the people he knew, at least a little bit anyways. Soon enough the large junior would settle himself behind Reira and Cain. Kale would immediately sink into the chair, resting his back against it and sliding to the edge of his seat to make himself as comfortable as possible.
"Hey Reira.. Cain."
The brown haired boy would drop his backpack down onto the floor, sinking his right hand down into his pocket to grab at his Ipod so that he could ready it for when class started. More then likely he was going to want to listen to some music, instead of listening to the teacher mutter on about shit he really didn't care all that much about. Of course, there was always the possibility that Cain and Reira could keep him company. Reira he liked, he had met her recently and had a good time talking. Cain was another he didn't mind so much. He was strong, and that was something Kale could respect.

Something about English class set him off probably because of the fact that it was English. Little known fact about the Serans' they just so happened to be French, now if we go back and do our history checks correctly the French and the British didn't exactly get along even still holding great dislikes of one another even past WWII and the recent allied unities to defy German occupation. Yet one could also conclude that the reason that a certain family member was teaching the class. Something that irrefutably set him off as being singled out. Damn it all.
Walking Trudging at a lingering pace Uriel found no ambition in searching out the class rather he waited waited from room to room until he was sure he'd be late. That'd give him reason to have a very different kind of attention the kind he preferred negative. Cocking a brow as he slenderly flipped his hair he settled in past the front doors regrettably freezing as he crossed before the desk.
An Icy gaze was shot towards his father as if to threaten him not to be an embarrassment. "Father...." His eyes wincing as he'd say so. His golden eye retracting as though searching for some deep and often lost thought lurked in the back of his mind tempting him to use it. An addiction one might say.
"Tch..." With that expressed he bypassed through the mingling group of sorts arching out for a back corner spot. He didn't want to be singled out though inadvertently he'd done the very same thing without them having to do the work. What a contradiction. But still he was only a row or two back from the group. Captain Cain.... Kale, a stranger he'd seen from the crowds, and a chocolate haired brunette. His gaze fell upon them as though it was the center of the room. Fixated on trying to dissolve each of them.
Kale he'd seen already, he'd be assured to see the boy again and perhaps have a recap of their last encounter. A swift grin forming in place most assured it'd end up better without an intruder. As for Cain, he knew very little. Captain for sure but to what degree all their encounters had been at a distance. This was probably the closest they'd been. The stranger, he was deemed as perhaps a passive or maybe not the hero type seeing as he'd let Uriel get as far as he had with stirring up the crowds. As for the Brunette he couldn't say. Attractive yes but he'd yet to judge her based upon principles for they were all that mattered.

English class, something she could breeze through without much trouble and honestly she could care less. She was in a relatively good mood. Why? No real reason other than she was in her "mood" and wanted to play...Which was never a good thing and given she was headed into class, well, yeah double trouble so to speak.... But at least she had dressed the part of the school girl right? Her long black locks falling down around her petite form as she made her way into the class room. Noting the teachers name and groaning lightly. "Honestly how many of you are there in this bloody world?"Yeah, that was a lovely little hello, eyes turning to look over the rest of the room. Ah, the school captain...a grin playing across her lips as a little fire sparked in her eyes. She had plans for that one, and then some girl she had never met.... ~Smile nice Kev...Just smile all nice like~ Then Kale....Yeah...she just raised her brow at him and grinned before tugging her bag up onto her shoulder a bit more and moving to the back of the class. Why? Because she wanted to fuck with Uriel. He always got so aggrivated with her...It was kinda fun, not to mention, she had a deal with him of sorts sooo if she had to pick who to take her seat with, of course it would be the moody kid in the back of the class. ~Fun fun....bet I make him mad just sitting next to him~ But like this was gonna end there. Pft! Taking her seat she leaned over, her elbows resting on his desk as she tilted her head lightly to the side..... "Daddy dearest I take it?"Nodding toward the teacher with a little grin tugging at her lips. "Honestly Uriel, you should really learn to cause a little havoc every now and then...And I dont mean with that little eye thingy you have......"Yeah, she looked the part of air head extrodinare, but looks were always decieving and well, just cause she looked all girly and what not did not mean she was not dangerous. But then, that was for her to know and the rest of the world to find out in time. ~Let them think I am some kind of slut, or idiot, or whatever they want...They'll learn....eventually.~ Always a game in her mind, and everyone was just a player....Gee, wonder where she got that from? Heh

Figaro had bags under his eyes due to a lack of sleep. He was wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and a worn out pair of white Nike tennis shoes. He had an already popped zit on the left side of his chin. A scab had formed over it, but it seemed to be half peeled off. Other than that, he looked normal and freshly shaved.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wasn't very social today because I had been playing World of Warcraft all night last night. It was raid night, and I was kind of pissed off that I didn't get any loot! Probably because I was the only raider that night with a life; in fact, it was the first time I logged on in two weeks! Why the hell am I even paying subscription fees? Because it's my mother's money!
When I walked into class, I only recognized one person, Reira, but I didn't bother to even greet her. She seemed popular enough as it was. Considering I was probably going to get kicked out of class at some point, I knew it was probably best for all of us if I sat at the desk closest to the door, so I took a seat in the front corner where it was an easy walk to and from - which happened to be right in front of Reira. I didn't have any bags on me, I just pulled out three pieces of notebook paper from my pocket - unfolded them, and placed a mechanical pencil next to it on the desk.
That should be enough for doodling - I mean, notes!
Hopefully, I hadn't been noticed by anyone, because at this point, I planned on putting my head down on the desk, and sleeping until the lectures began. Where I would then prop my head in a position where I looked like I was listening, but in reality, would still be sleeping anyways! Yes, the plan was genius!

She had gone to bed late, did she even go to bed? It didn't feel like it. She was tired and sore, on the brink of falling asleep again. She was like that a lot, tired for no apparent reason. So no cool, she was usually always in bed as a reasonable hour. She was still in bed when the alarm went off,an alarm she only used when tired.. Because most of the damn time she was up with the sun, wandering about, cleaning and making breakfast and lunch for herself and her father. Although, that was not the case as of late. Sleeping in, needing the alarm, falling asleep in class.. on her sandwich.Oh so much fun. Sleep without a need out a reason.
She was worried, it wasn't like her to need so much sleep.
Still in bed, curled up, with the blankets pulled over her head. Hilde didn't want to wake up,it wasn't fair. Why couldn't she just sleep and be refreshed, not sleep and feel dead. It wasn't long before she got up and ready for school. A drive to school, followed by a sluggish trek to the classroom. Feeling more dead than she had when it all started.
A slow pace as she entered the classroom, Standing up straight, but looking down at the ground as she passed the teacher at ..where ever he was.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Pineapple. L'anana ne parachut pas."
She wasn't thinking, fudge, that wasn't good. Not good at all, she loved english, she neeeededededed to stay awake. Pausing for a moment, she'd turn and walk out of the classroom. Back into the busy hallway only to set her bag down and open it.
When things looked grim, one needs power.
POWER!
POWERRRR!!!!
Energy...
Energy.
Pulling the tab, she'd open the can. Mocha Rockstar, weak for some... BUT IT DIDN'T HAVE THE ICKY TASTE. It would work if she drank it in one go, right? Bringing the can to her lips, she'd commence chugging. Perhaps the worst thing she'd done in a while. But desperate times call for desperate measures!
SHE NEEDED TO BE AWAKE.
awaakkkee....
awaakkkeeee.
Once she downed the energy drink, she felt a little more awake. Perhaps it would take a few minutes to kick in, or something. The red haired girl made her way back into class, dropping the empty can in a recycling bin. So very thankful she had been out of sight while drinking. Smile. Smile.
Finding a seat near no one, Hilde would take a seat, noting that many people would appear to know each other. Alone, at a seat near the back and against a wall. Pulling out a note book, she'd set it down and look to the board. Still feeling silly for what she had said and the fact she had to leave and return.
...... .... .... I CAN DO THIS!~ Stay awake.

One by one, the students started to drift into the classroom, some coming in nonchalantly, like it was nothing, others, including his own son, coming in looking like they were going to be executed. Nodding his head in acknowledgment as each student that came in greeted him, starting with an Asian looking fellow, followed by a extremely pretty girl, then the School Captain himself, then another male, and then Mr. Sunshine himself, his son. "... Uriel." Jacques replied back, choosing to ignore the wince his son gave, he wasn't about to ruin his image just to get a kick out of embarrassing his own son. Another extremely pretty girl walked in, as Jacques chuckled inside from her question. "Too many apparently." Another male student came in, with bags under his eyes, it was like all the students in his class were going to fall asleep the moment he started talking, wonderful.
The last student to come in was a girl with red hair, since he knew French, he understood what she said to him, as she immediately walked out of the room, before coming back soon after, though I'll be damned if it didn't make him look at her like she needed more sleep. "..." Moving on... The bell rang, as Jacques walked over to door and closed it, it was official, any student that walked in here after would be considered late. Walking back to his desk, he leaned against it, as he folded his arms lightly across his chest. "Good day, and welcome. I am Jacques Seran. If you did not sign up for English, I would suggest exiting the classroom immediately and find your correct class." Jacques reached behind him and grabbed the course outlines, and began passing them out. "We will be covering Hamlet and 1984, and so as to not bore you right at the beginning, we will start with 1984. Head to the room at the back, and pick up a copy of the book. Get to it."

Kevala rolled her eyes and eventually got up and went to get her book. A little sigh passing her lips as she reached up and twisted a bit of hair about her finger.
As she returned to her seat she brushed her tongue over her lips and crossed her legs beneath the desk.
It was only then that she started to flip through the pages and finally figured out where the hell they were.
From there she started to read, trying to stay awake. She loved reading, IF it was interesting and she loved all things about english and literature but sometimes the shit these teachers wanted to teach you was enough to make you want to cringe and slam your head down onto the desk in hopes of losing consciousness.
But none the less she stayed awake and continued to read, not really bothering to pay attention to those around her, just focused on TRYING to maintain some of the information which she was sure she would be tested on later.

The sound of footsteps made Kazuya look out from the corner of his eye, as he saw Reira walk in, giving her a two finger salute as she waved at him, as the School Captain himself walked in, followed by the guy that had sent a table flying at Kazuya. And look who just walked in like it was the end of the world! Mr. Sunshine himself, the blond Seran, or Uriel, as Mr. Seran addressed his son after Uriel addressed his father, so that make him the brother of Gabriel's father. Go figure. Kevala then walked in, looking very much like a school girl. How many Serans were there in this world? Too many. Another guy that Kazuya didn't know came in, looking like he was going to fall asleep at any moment. A girl with red hair then followed in after, but walked out, then came back in. "..." Ooookay then.
The bell then rang, as Kazuya sat up in his seat, his attention on Mr. Seran. After introducing himself, course outlines were handed out, as Kazuya took one, and glanced through it, before standing up and heading to the room at the back, and picked up a copy of 1984. He then stopped in mid-step, the heck? Half the class was gone, and Mr. Seran, who probably didn't care if the students stayed or not, he was going to get paid either way. There were only a few people left in the entire class. "..." Apparently Shakespeare and 1984 were scary enough to drive half the students away. Plopping back down in his seat, Kazuya began to read the book, not really paying much attention to anything else at this point.

"... Uriel."
A nod and his face turned downward into a frown as he was addressed, soon enough they'd call him by his proper name, all the Seran's he'd be Lord in their eyes and the rest of them servants, even father. The man who lost his title, yes he was a traitor in his son's eyes for being a coward. Should have bled Gaelion while he had the chance.
"Daddy dearest I take it?"
Uriel's eyes leveling to the school girl, of course of all his luck the greatest pain in his neck had to decide upon taking up refuge in his classes, atop that chose a place so close to him. Uriel's lip quivered out of angst, something wanter to tear through them and give the pest a lesson in word play. Eyes narrowed even as she went on to torment him with her words.
"Honestly Uriel, you should really learn to cause a little havoc every now and then...And I dont mean with that little eye thingy you have......"
"And perhaps it's best you keep your tongue from flapping in the wind, perhaps then you'll get some respect..." Uriel shot back his words deadly as poison. Never once looking at her his eyes addressed his drawing book rather than Father's lecture, he'd been taught this all before by father firsthand being in this class was but a formality passed on and gifted to him for the sake of a poor American education.

Jacques knew his son was not pleased to be addressed by his name, and not as Lord Seran, but Jacques was his father, not his servant, he would not bow down to his own son, even though his own son did not think very highly of him. Once he had handed out the course outlines and gave the students instructions, he sat down in his chair and tended to some of the paperwork he had been given, not even the sound of the classroom door opening and closing multiple times distracted him from his work, it was quite obvious that some of the students had decided to leave, not that he cared, he was being paid regardless if the students decided to stay and attend class or not.
Looking up from his work, he saw only four students were left, as he chuckled inwardly, apparently the work was scary enough to drive two-thirds of the class away. "Well, since almost two-thirds of the class has left, and there's no real point in teaching a class of four, and it's so close to the end of class, your first homework assignment. Read the first three chapters of 1984, and take down anything that catches your interest. And be warned, I will check that you've done it next class, and don't try to BS your way out of it by saying nothing in the three chapters interested you. If there are no questions, class is dismissed."
(OOC: Sorry to end the class so abruptly, since it was rather short, with so many people AWOL. EXP will be awarded now.
