Breeze in Monochrome Night
It was around nine when she left, a little dark, but nice. It had rained that day, leaving the ground went, the passing cars made more noise. It all was enough to drown out the silence, something she hated.Over the time spent indoors, Addie had grown a strong dislike for silence. It was eerie and not the nicest, reminds people they are alone; at least that's what she thought. Perhaps she had become a little odd during her time hiding, maybe it didn't matter. It was just one of those things, like spiders, she didn't like.
Smiling, the young woman walked as if she was her old self. She was. Strong, confident, not a care in the world... For the most part. Sure, her worries were focused on Torrin as she stayed home. Even if they lived in the land of sunshine and rainbows, Addie would still worry about the girl. After all, she couldn't cook to save her life.Had Addie not been home to make dinner, she'd have probably ate a weird mixture of beeferoni and horse radish. Torrin was strange, the thought of some of her cooking experiments brought a smile to the tanned girl's face.
Her hair was puled up in a high pony tail and braided, she was once again wearing her black collar. it was something she loved, probably something she would never get rid of. Weird sentimental bonds to it.Clad in red, black and white, just like old days. Addie was refreshed once again, being herself.Sticking out of the crowds with her, ever so strange choice in clothing. It was almost like a kimono, but not quite like it. More like a take on embracing part of her heritage. Even for her, it was an odd choice.
Two words...
Floral... Patterns.
As much as she hated them, the girl couldn't resist putting them on the outfit. Red flowered vine crawling from the hem up to the shoulder. Along with the white flowers on both sleeves. As strange as it seemed, it didn't matter because Addie felt good again. Even if she wasn't quite as open as she was before about her form, it didn't mean she was any different.
With a pile of books in arms, her messenger bag resting on her shoulder, she'd make her way into a cafe. There was a lovely one in the down town area, open until three in the morning, definitely a good place to chill. It was often crowded with people, many of the artist type.Drawing away. Under glass table tops, was displayed art, all by the local artists. Regulars at the cafe to be exact. walking in, she'd smile and wave at the cashier, he welcomed her and returned to working.Making a chai latte for the girl at the register. In the back there was a group, laptop on the table and chairs pulled around the two joined tables. Women and met, knitting away, it was strange. But yes, there was a knitting group. Even a young man in the front, playing on the guitar.
The cafe was really nice, yet it always seemed packed with people. But who could blame the regulars, friendly people, good service, and delicious food!Sitting down at the last remaining seat, Addie set her bag down and looked to the big front windows for a moment. It was a lovely night~~
"What to have? What to have?" Addie questioned as she walked to the cash, reading the menu posted on decorated chalkboards on the wall. "Chai tea Latte annnddddddd some bruschetta!!" Returning to the table moments later, Addie couldn't help but look out the window again. It was ashame there was no patio for the place. It would have been nice to sit outside.
With the order out of the way...
Time to sit back, relax, get some reading done,a little designing, and of course partake in someone of the lovely food the cafe had to offer.Awwwwwyeah. Addie was back and normal.... for the most part.[/ul]
