And Cain threw his foot upon Spike. However, instead of dodging it, Spike decided to show his superior capabilities by taking the kick. Despite knowing that it may just end well, Cain hampered not in his attack, instead attempting to increase the power behind the kick by twisting his whole body along with it. The kick connected with Spike's arms. And Spike was forced back, though only by a bit. It failed not to surprise Cain, for he knew just how weak his strikes were, but he had put his speed behind that. How could Spike actually withstand that? Who were these #259ers?
Spike would then push down on Cain's foot, negating his whole momentum and putting a reverse one on it. Determined, the Junior refused to let up on Leon. With the downward momentum, he was allowed to land on his left leg on the ground just as his right foot was swinging downwards. Then, moving quickly, he would leap back towards Spike, using the reverse momentum, and adding onto it with his own movement, to bring his right foot around and down onto Spike's head as an axe kick.
If Cain's plan worked fast enough, Spike's arm would still be below his chest level after pushing Cain's right foot downwards.
There was no way he was going to give this guy such an easy win.

It worked, but it didn't happen the way he had imagined it. Instead the almost completely opposite effect happened and he watched the leg come up and around, his arms where too low, and he'd be hard pressed to dodge, so he simply looked up into it. As the leg came done Spike loosened the grip on the ground with his right foot. The heel hit, slicing his fore head with the sole. Spike could almost see the air moving out of trhe way of the kick as it slammed home, thrashing his head downward.
As he bent down he also raised that right foot behind him, then up and he would spin on his left foot bringing the right around and down in an axe kick a repeat counter using the momentum created using the same attack thrown against him.
This was the tactic known originally by Grave Sudeki, Spike's uncle, one of the greatest, probably even more than Leon, but like his father, Grave was dead. But not before teaching Spike some of his techniques, while Lloyd, Spike's grandfather, had taught him the beauty of counter fighting. Add the vicious power of Leon. You have a formula for a great fighter.

*WHAM*
Cain's own leg shook upon the impact, the man putting all his strength behind the kick to perhaps allow him to even the odds here. Twice now, he had been thrown to the ground by this male, though Cain had never succeeded in allowing his upper body to find the grass below their feet. Cain watched then as Spike's head moved downwards, his grin widening as he knew that the man was going to find the ground finally. However, it seemed that superior skill would be demonstrated today as Spike suddenly regained his footing and executing a counter much similar to Cain's. The School Captain's eyes widened. Too fast. It was impossible for Cain to ever dodge that, especially when his right leg was not on the ground yet.
He raised his arms quickly, the limbs having being placed over his chest, crossing it over his head as it threatened to find him. Cain braced himself for impact, his teeth clamping tight against each other, a reflex move to prevent himself from biting off his own tongue. The kick found his arms and he felt them shiver violently under the impact. however, it was far from over as the kick forced his arms down, the heel of Spike's foot still finding Cain's head. The School Captain let out a grunt as his head jerked downwards, the rest of his body following as momentarily, he faded away into unconsciousness.
It was only when his chin found the ground did he wake up, the Captain bouncing off the grass patch from his own reflexes as his hands pushed him off the ground, the man rolling aside as if in fear of a follow-up, his eyes closed as he lay there, coughing a bit as blood sprayed upon the grass patch to the side of his head. He let out a groan, his body still and his chest and shoulders rising and sinking greatly with every breathe he took. What was with this guy, man? Not only was he almost as fast as he was, he was also a whole lot stronger and skilled. Cain had been completely out-matched here.
"... #259... Was that harsh a school... Huh?"
Cain managed to mutter out between breathes, obviously exhausted and down for the count already. His head was shaking, his vision still blurred and tilting constantly to either side.
Yes, with that beautiful counter of Spike's, #259 had proved itself to be stronger than #774.

After his heel would hit Cain, Spike's balance would be thrown as well, and he would fall back on his ass. Twisting and nursing the hell used as he got to a standing position again. He was still limping that leg a bit fromt he initial shock. And his face had a good amount of blood mixed with sweat. It had been a good bout, but as the air had changed so had Spike's attitude. He just stood there as Cain lay there. His words catching Spike's ear as he let out a long sigh.
"Worse."
Spike began the simple statement.
"I was middle class compairably to the monsters at that school."
Spike would take a seat to rest now that the fight was over. Cain was good, he had skill, determination, and a warriors spirit. He could keep up and had he been pushed he was sure Cain would of kept going. There where untapped supplies of energy and he could see it.
"I dont know if you've heard of the Dragons or not. But 259 was like their training ground."

"Worse."
What? Cain turned his head as he allowed his blurred vision to look towards Spike's direction. Worse? There was a school worse off than where Cain had been to? Worse than #552? Wait, #259 was that bad? He remembered then Kevala, and the way she had brought down the Senior that had managed to escape Cain's beatings. She had totally brutalised the man, worse then Cain could ever bring himself to. So, #259 was a deeper hell than the schools Cain had been to, huh?
"I was middle class compairably to the monsters at that school."
Cain's eyes widened, the blurred vision causing his head to spin, though he could be bothered less about it. Here was a realisation that had hit him hard, that there were many other fighters there, stronger than Cain was, stronger than Spike was. That meant that he still had a long way to go, that he still had a lot to improve on. His lips slowly stretched to a grin. Yeah, he was definitely gonna drive himself to improve. Spike had not seen the last of him.
"I dont know if you've heard of the Dragons or not. But 259 was like their training ground."
He closed his eyes. The Dragons? He had heard of them. Leon Sudeki was an example of a Dragon that he had met, many years ago. Wait... Sudeki? Cain furrowed his eyebrows, his eyes staying closed as he allowed his head to tilt towards Spike.
"Yeah... I met a Dragon before. His name was Leon, I think."

Spike's eyes widened, and his breathing halted completely for a second, not expecting someone he hardly knew to know the man, but he began slowly again. His mind chosing it was easy for that to happen. Leon must of been on his travels and recruiting runs for the gang, and he was the most active member of the group in travelling to new places and gaining new members.
"My father. He died a few weeks back."
Spike would still keep that monotone voice for the time. His voice emotionless, but his body language showed the kind of experience that was, because his eyes where off in the horizon somewhere.
Looking back on that battle, Spike could still see Void, running to help Leon, and watching as the Legendary fighters of the clan put down such devistation. The power of the strike that Leon had put to the ground had uplifted the earth around them, heaving bolders and fighters into the air, and Void bursting between them and laying a smack down.
After Leon fell though, Void couldn't get out.
"The Dragons are all but gone now. One of my Duties is to bring down the Dragons Corperation in place of my father to bring power to my family."

"My father. He died a few weeks back." "Oh... I'm sorry."
Cain replied in sympathy, as surprising as that was. Cain never had much love for his own father, the man having treated him nothing more than a tool for money. He cared little for his welfare, his wishes or his dreams, for to him, Cain was nothing more than something to make money out of. Hell, he never even saw him as a human being, pushing him way beyond his limits and more than once, almost pushing Cain to the brink of death. He sighed, still lying on the ground. Leon had been one of the best fighters Cain had ever come across with. And knowing Spike was his son, Cain was not surprised that Spike had done just as well as his father did, if not better.
"The Dragons are all but gone now. One of my Duties is to bring down the Dragons Corperation in place of my father to bring power to my family."
The Dragons? Wasn't the Dragons themselves the association that Leon was in? He was confused, to say the least, as he looked over towards Spike. Cain had once joined a tournament held by Leon to look for worthy candidates for Dragons, but he never succeeded in making it through the second round. However, he fought with Leon after that, but lost. Well, thinking back, Spike fought almost like Leon too, only a bit more skilled and with more flow. Like he already had attack plans formulated before the fight even started.
"The Dragons Corporation?"
Of course, Cain never got to know that Leon had thought of training him into a Dragon, for he had left New York before such an offer was given to Cain. And Cain left soon after that too. Though, he never thought that someone as great as him, someone who had brought down a gang of 250 single-handedly, could actually be killed. He was going to have to find out how some time soon. And he was unsure whether to ask Spike or not. It should be a sensitive topic to him, after all.

After Cain gave his condolences Spike nodded solidly. Spike watched him for a minute, it would seem he was confused about certain things conserning the dragons. It was understandable if you wheren't one you regularly didn't know. Spike, however, thought that at least a possible would have been aware. Or maybe he didn't get that far...
"Mmm..."
Spike would reach into his jacket and pull out a piece of paper. Replacing it after glancing. Taking a breath before he would continue on.
"The original Dragons before my father moved the new Dragons Gang into being, where part of a business. This business was The Dragons. They where hired by the original staff of Public High School #552 to take out the problem children. Permanently. It failed with the death of two of the Dragons. Fire and Water. After that it became a permanent vendetta against the student body. The war went wild for a while, and is probably still part of the Corperations mission."
Spike would breath a few times again, before crawling over to the bench to lean against. He'd continue.
"But, some of the students including my father took names of the fallen Dragons combining their strength to become a force of power. This enraged the Corperation to no end, and ever since a war has been on going between my fathers Dragons and The Dragons Corperation."
Though it would mean that the war had been going on for over 20 years now. Finally Spike would give away his real intention for attracting Cain.
"Though, I would of thought my father would of told you considering his interest in training you."

Yeah, #552 had been around for quite a while. Cain did figure that it may have encountered some trouble with some organisations and major gangs and the likes. Hell, even in Cain's time, the school seemed to have been involved in some pretty messed-up shit. And the government was involved too, considering the number of times the troubles were handled by riot police and helicopters and the likes. Too bad they always came right when the battle was about to be finished by the students themselves. And they always tended to get the public credit for 'keeping the peace and order'. What made Cain curious, though, was the time line. Cain was unsure of how old Spike was, but he figured he was probably his age. If that was right... Then the Dragons attacked #552 as many as 20 years ago.
Cain's eyes widened. #552 had been a hellhole for that long, huh? So, a personal vendetta between a school of great ability and a corporation of dangerous individuals. Wow. That sounded like some unusually epic battle. And remembering Leon, Cain knew that some of the greatest fighters were involved in that battle too. Cain only regretted not having being a part of it. However, from what Spike was saying, it seemed that the Corporation was still alive, and he was aiming to bring it down. Cain opened his eyes, looking towards Spike, the exhausted but strong-willed individual pushing himself up a seating position, now curious.
"Though, I would of thought my father would of told you considering his interest in training you."
Cain's eyes widened in shock. Training him? Leon wanted to train him? Cain did not hear about that. Yeah, like explained beforehand, he was clueless about Leon's interest on him. Cain looked at the ground for a moment, still in disbelief. He recovered quickly enough, though, as he glanced back at Spike, his eyebrows furrowing in doubt.
"... But that doesn't make sense. I didn't even make it past the second round in the tournament he held... Though, I did fight him once, but he defeated me utterly."
Could it be...? It must be. When else could Leon have assessed Cain's ability in combat?

"Well I dont know for sure, but my father was good at picking out people with potential. The tournament was meant for more than finding some top fighter out of a bunch of people, it was about seeing what they put into the fights."
~Win or lose, its how much you put into the fight... Right dad?~
Spike faught with what his dad always told him. And Spike would relay that message to Cain now. He would say it exactly the way his dad would have, exactly as if Leon where standing there now. As it played in his own mind with his fathers voice.
"It's not about how hard you can hit, its about how hard you can get hit and keep goin, how much you can take, and keep fightin."
Spike would then remain silent to let it sink in. Before speaking again.
"At least thats what he always told me."
