"Now we finish this.."
And with that, Cain acknowledged this to be his final bout. That meant that he was going to give this final exchange his all, and not care about his physical safety, for this was either going to end with him falling, or the other. Of course, there was a chance that the two of them would both be on the ground, but it all depended on circumstances, like how Adam was going to attack. It was obvious that Adam was superior to Cain in terms of brawling, so Cain knew he had to be quite resourceful and nimble here.
And Adam charged once more, both hands raising and posing a thread indeed. Of course, Cain had to react. His arms still hurt from that slide, so it left with with no other option but to use his legs. Either way, his legs was always going to be the better choice for this exchange, for its range was a whole lot longer than his arms'. Pushing off with both legs, he would use his arms to swing so that he faced his left as he pulled his right knee to his chest. Adam was coming in.
As soon as the man was in range, Cain would snap his right foot outwards, aiming the limb towards Adam's upper chest, knowing full well the risk he was taking were this to connect. Adam's body had a whole lot momentum than Cain's kick and so the force on Cain's leg would be just as large as it would be on Adam's chest. Plus, those fists of Adam would go down in reflex and most likely find Cain's knee. In other words, it was a double-edged weapon now.
But if it did work, Cain may just emerge from this bout standing. Albeit on one foot, but standing nonetheless.
