Looking down, she was really happy to see the cat was so taken to her. It kind of made Hilde feel a little special, especially after what Jayden had said. She'd smile and try her very best to stand still, not wishing to disturb the cat and all. Must stay on both their good sides. "Really? Dio seems so friendly. I'm so happy he likes me." She'd laugh once more, smiling as she swayed about in a happy fashion. Piano!? *___* "That's so cool! The piano looks really difficult!" Hilde was impressed, especially since she thought of it difficult. Although, those who can play music and who can handle an instrument were amazing in her book. "I hope I can hear you play it one day!"Perhaps she was being a little too pushy? But it was the truth, she loves listening to music. Piano was so calming, so lovely. She especially liked Moon and Longing/love. Pushing her bangs from her eyes, she smile again. Trying to cover her rudeness about asking him to play. She still kind of felt bad. "Sorry for seeming so pushy! I love the piano." Hilde spoke with focus on the ground for the first part, looking back up at him with a smile. Only wishing he could forgive her for the rudeness.

Jayden smiled, he watched his cat enjoying this girls company almost as much as he was. he had finally realized something... this girl was just as much of a goofball as him, that or she was REALLY good at pretending to be interested in his boring every day activity. he liked that though, the possibility of someone as... out of touch as himself. of course he didn't mean that in a bad way, but she was definately different... different than anyone else he had met so far.
Jayden tried not to blush as she talked about piano, but he could feel his face growing hot. "its not that hard... its just a matter of practice" he said in response, then she asked to hear him play one day.
for a slight moment he was taken aback, he had never played anything for someone... he always did it for himself because no one else wanted to hear.
she continued before he got the chance to respond. he didn't understand how someone so attractive and nice and polite and amazing could be so... easy to get along with... or how they could stand to be by him.
"Well... if you want, I'd be happy to play you something on piano" Jayden offered, then wondered where he would find a piano to play on for her... unless he'd have to take her to his house...
and a step back! Jayden didn't want to get to ahead of himself, first see what she says.

A matter of practice. Although, she didn't really want to play, her mother had always played it. The sad little thought wandered through her mind for a moment, as she listened to the rest of what Jayden had to say. It did indeed come as a shock to her. HE ACTUALLY AGREED. Her smile grew, showing teeth and she closed her eyes for a second before her attention once again found its way up to Jayden. Like a kind in a candy factory. There was a moment where she felt a little silly about being so happy, after all he was just going to play the piano for her.
But couldn't that be seen as a first step down the friend road? Or at least to her, that's what it was."Really really?" Had it not been for the cat on her feet, she would have been jumping around. Hilde was a cheerful person, who could get a little..hyper? sometimes. Which had the tendency to get annoying; or so she had been told.
Curb your enthusiasm. You are going to scare him away if you keep acting like a fool
Really? But he seems to be able to act just as odd. Do I really need to tone it down?
Yes..
She smiled once more, feeling rather sheepish for her actions and enthusiasm. Her face started to glow red, she knew this only because of the warmth in her cheeks."That would be so wonderful! Thank-you Jayden." There was a part of him that wished to leap out and hug him, but that voice told her not to do so. It was always crushing her fun.
Why did she listen to it?
Five seconds until impact. 5 4 3 2 1
ATTTACCCKKKK!
Quickly, she'd take a step forward, only to embrace the young man in a tight hug. Or at least one with all her strength; which wasn't really much at all. "Thanks Jayden!" She couldn't help but repeat her thanks, after all it wasn't everyday someone was so nice to her. From pink to bright red, Hilde began to feel silly and out of line. After all, she did just attack him.
Stupid..Stupid..Stupid girl..
Stupid me.. Stupid me..stupid me..

"Really really?"
Jayden just nodded, her enthusiasm really brought up his self esteem, but still he was slightly guarded, this all could just be a long drawn out ruse for her to suddenly just say "JUST KIDDING!" and run off Jayden wasn't sure
she then thanked him, yes... he knew it... here it comes, RUNNING AND SCREAMING INTO THE NIGHT FROM THE MONSTER THAT WAS JAYDEN, THAT ALL MAY LEARN TO HATE HIM EQUALLY!
*hug*
Wait...
WAIT.
NO, NO, NO, NO, WHAT THE FU-
eh whatev, this is freaking awesome. ___________________________________
Jayden was completely undure what to do. the only person who had ever hugged him had been his mother, and his brother jokingly during a time when they where slightly better friends. which of course made Jayden think of all that could have been between him and his brother. it was a curious feeling, it made him a little sad, which made him glad to be conviniently being hugged at this moment. Jayden simply wrapped his arms around the girl tightly, she would never know the real reason he was hugging her as tightly as she hugged him.
"Yeah, no problem" Jayden simply said as she thanked him, he knew she was blushing, he didn't think he could ever have that affect on people.
today was the best day ever. it made him feel pretty gutsy.
"In fact... if you want, we can hang out after school or something, and I can play for you" Jayden offered
now was the moment of truth, epic denial, or epic victory.

It was a little surprising when she found that he hugged her back, It felt warm. Looking up with a nervous smile on her face once again. She had over stepped a boundary, hugging him perhaps wasn't the right thing to do; but it felt right. Regardless, she'd let him go after a few moments, looking at him with a bright smile on her face, "Thank-you!" She spoke in a very happy tone, while she took a few steps back into her original spot.
Followed by a lovely offer to hang out after school. Just her first day of school and she already had plans! A friend... it was wonderful. There were very few words to describe how happy she was, it was going to be a good day! "Can we really?" Pausing for the moment, the girl tried for a moment to compose herself. Act a little normal.
"That sounds like it would be a lot of fun! I'd love to hear you play." A smile sweeter than sugar. Who could stay angry at her.
Oh ho ho! More fun shall be had ~<3

Jayden just smiled, "Yeah of course we can" he said, his hands gripped around his guitar, he was still a bit nervous, but not so bad that he didn't mention
"Of course... I don't know where there's a piano anywhere though, unless you want to go to my house?" he mentioned. he knew that might be a bit pushing it but it was honest, he had no idea if this massive school had a music room, and if it did he certainly had no idea where it was, if he had known he probably would have been there right then. though he was glad that he wasn't, he wouldn't have met this amazing girl if he had been there.
hmm, so much to consider sometimes.
he looked at her, seeing her blush had really made his day for some reason, this whole situation was simply surreal to him. maybe he would wake up soon

He said yes! He actually said yes. What a crazy random happenstance. Oh yes. She was over the moon. Chanting: a friend! a friend! a friend! in her mind. There were times where Hilde could be so simple. Although, after being hated, ignored and disliked randomly by everyone in she had met in the school system, it was only logical that she be so happy. Even with the little bit of doubt in her heart, the girl couldn't help but smile at her new friend. It had been a very long time since the red haired girl had so much fun at school. One thing could be learned from her first day, it was going to be an enjoyable time at the school.
OH I'll have fun too Hilde dear...heh..
"Where ever would make you most comfortable playing Jayden. After all, it's you playing, so you need to think of yourself. The audience will adapt to a location if they get to hear someone play for them" Hilde was speaking from her heart, which lead to her feeling a little silly about it. After all, it was a strange thing to say, right?
"Sorry for saying something so strange." Her blue gaze would turn to the floor, trying to avoid eye contact until her face cooled once more. "Any where is fine with me, I guess that's what I meant." Of course she felt really stupid, it would take a moment or two longer to shake it...
3 2 1.....
Smile smile."Thanks again Jayden."

Jayden just smirked, not sure what to make of all this. he was trying to get a feel for this person, and he had gotten so far. very nice, overtly friendly, cheery attitude, full of manners and passion, logical, if not a bit overexcited. very easy to excite... yes... still, for the moment Jayden figured that beggars can't be choosers... he'd never had many friends nor gone out of his way to make a friend, but if someone came to him like this as she had, he figured that he may as well take advantage of it.
Dio of course was now meandering around, growing bored of their conversation and their lack of action, a cats attention span could only last so long.
Jayden looked down at his little friend and back up into the blue eyes of hildegarde, who smiled at him nicely, a sense of calm fell over him, he didn't trust the whole situation but he was done fighting it.
"Here..." jayden said, he bent over, grabbing the balled up piece of paper that Dio had been playing with, pulling a pen out of his messanger bag he quickly scribbled down his number, handing it to her. "Give me a call after school gets out, and we'll hang out" Jayden said, managing an unusual and unpracticed friendly tone.
there was something symbolic to using the balled up paper to write his number, he just didn't know what it was yet.
Suddenly from overhead the bell rang for classes to start... well, so be it.
"It was really nice meeting you... um... I guess I'll see you after school?" he asked, he had to give her one more chance to say no before he could really believe this was happening

Given a number, a smile, and an offer. What more could make a day so awesome? Well, the playing of the piano of course! The smile lingered, it never seemed to waver for very long during their entire conversation. Nodding the girl accepted the piece of paper and looked down at it for a moment, ignoring the sound of the bell for a few minutes. After all, it wouldn't hurt to be late. She had to go settle a few things at the office anyways. So, she'd probably miss first class anyways.
"It was very nice to meet you Dio and Jayden! I'll call you after school!" Still quite enthused about the whole situation, Hilde folded the paper and slipped it into the pocket with her phone. "I can't wait!" Taking a step backwards, the girl looked as the busy halls slowly seemed to empty, the second bell would ring in a matter of seconds.
"I've got to go!" The red haired girl would smile once more before running off.... In the wrong direction..
She'd get to the corner, where the halls intersected, only to have to run back, sending a sheepish smile at Jayden as slowed down. "Wrong way!" Followed by running once more. She was gone, looking forward to seeing Jayden after school and happy to start going to her new school.
I'll have soooo much fun with this one~<3

Jayden watched her go, a warm feeling in his chest, and a certain excitement that gave him goosebumps as the girl turned the corner. what an amazing turn of events, and who would have thought it came from just playing guitar in a hallway... maybe he should do that more often.
He sighed, hoping she wouldn't forget to call... or just randomly decide not to for some reason. oh who cares! this was awesome!
he began a little dance, his toes tapping and his hips shaking a bit just as Hilde came back around the corner.
"Wrong way!"
Jayden blushed and off she was running, he was glad they had both had an embarrassing moment so that he wouldn't be the sole bearer of it.
"See you later" Jayden called out, stuffing one hand in his pocket, and grabbing his guitar with the other, walking off down the hall, dio at his heels.
(End of thread for Jayden)
