Breaking The Silence ( Jack/Invite )

That pleasant dream that any guy got, in the middle of the night, it was the one thing that men shared universally and just like any cliché story line Jack’s wonderful, sensual dream was disturbed by the ringing of his phone, waking up with a groan. He recognized the ring tone immediately as Kevala’s. Sighing he outstretched his hand to his phone, pressing the answer button he put it to his ear.

“Kev, you any idea what time it is, what’s wrong?”

Jack was cut off by her weak voice, his eyes adjusted to the lack of light, his instincts took over, as soon as he heard her voice he knew something was wrong.

"Jack.......I...I am at .....the school...."

“What’s...wro...”

"I...I need ...help..."

“Wait for me”

Jack threw off his covers, hanging up the phone, Jack looked around his room for some clothes, pulling on some tracksuit pants, grabbed a pair of runners throwing them on he pulled on a random t shirt, grabbing his keys, wallet and phone he walked out of the apartment. Not caring if he woke Phoenix, going down to the basement, he found his GTR, unlocking it, he turned on the car, changing into reverse, he backed out of his bay. Switching the car to drive he also turned, on race mode and the suspension into race mode. Jack would accelerate out of the car park, doing 0-60 in about 3.7 seconds. Pushing his car he hit the corners at speeds he normally wouldn’t dare. The sheer power his car generated on the corner was crazy, the control it had, the explosive power was completely out of this world, the highly turned 500 BHP car blasted down the main road. Zig zagging between cars eager to push his car to the limits.

Jack broke onto the main road that would take him directly to the school, it resembled a straight on a racecourse and at this hour the road was empty. He floored it , the engine screamed and Jack yelled in anticipation of the flawless gear change. It was as if it were a build up to orgasm, you could feel it coming yet the result was always a surprise. As he pushed the car forward, cornering with F1 precision. The school came in sight, Jack increased the speed, the gate was open something which normally wasn’t open. Jack slammed on the breaks, turning the car into a tail whip. He got out of the car and made sure it was locked, running up to the front entrance it was locked. Deciding he’d go through the side entrance which lead into courtyard, the whole time Jack was thinking where it was most logical for Kevala to be, inside or outside, first floor or last floor, on the ovals or the fields. Jack swore to himself he heard a scream and he knew it was her... it had to be. If it wasn’t the person who made that noise would wish they were dead.

Jack saw a small figure on a bench, trashing and yelling. Her screams pierced his soul, trashing at his mental barriers. Jack would cover the distance in a matter of seconds, his hands would fine Kevala’s body gently working her finger sout of her hair to avoid her pulling on it any more.

“Shhh.. babe I’m here now, Jack’s here now.. Just like you wanted just like you asked me to be I’m here.”

Jack would try and comfort Kevala he wouldn’t dare move her not knowing how she would react. He had some experience with these type of fits although there was no way he could know what had been put in Kevala’s body. His own drug was still dormant, waiting to be activated the calm sinister man that was Stein had planned many years in the future.

"They wont shut up! I...I cant stop them!!"

“It’s okay just don’t speak... just relax”

Jack’s grip on Kevala increased in pressure, something was wrong. His instincts took over just like a dog could sense certain things his inner animal tingled, something inside him screamed in delight as if it had a long lost sister. Jack’s inner demon sinister nature and as evil as satan, knew what was coming even though he didn’t fully realise it. His eye brows raised in his usual manner when anything surprised him, her hair began to change from that lovely jet black to blond. Having seen these sort of split personalities. He wasn’t surprised that people like Kevala existed at 774 more so that she herself had split personalities. He couldn’t help but finding it all a tad humorous he was in for a long night.

Kevala retracted her hand starring at Jack as if he was a stranger, this only confirmed his fears she had no idea who he was. Jack too backed off creating some distance between them, still crouching so they were at eye level.

"So you are the newest play thing huh? What was the name again? Sorry I tend to forget what we call the trash. You all are never around long enough to bother knowing."

“and you’re the cousin Kevala doesn’t talk about, the how did she put it? The disappointment in the family or was it the weakling, no I remember she mentioned something about trash that kept haunting her.. I can’t remember exactly .. sorry... but who the fuck are you?”

Jack chuckled his eyes traced the new person in front of him, she looked like Kevala say for a few obvious differences, yet this abomination in no way had the charm that Kevala possessed nor the beauty. He noticed the red eyes something that surfaced every so often when they had made love.

“So, demon... tell me why did you choose to come out and play now... you’ve inconvenienced me quite the bit.”

"Hmm...Well it seems that those experimental toxins the Katashi's injected us with loosened the walls on my prison. Such a naughty girl for locking us up that way. We must be sure to make her suffer. "

“Hehehe....”

Jack chuckled so the injuries Kevala spoke about and the family reunion along with the kidnapping of Zeke were all connected. He would sigh, not only was this new Kevala not as attractive as the original she was about fifty times more annoying. There was nothing worse than an ugly short chick... except one that didn’t shut the fuck up.

"So let me guess, you want her. You have feelings for her...You think you stand a chance with her......Please...I bet you don't know a thing about her other than what her flesh feels like under your touch. Bet you have no clue why we have these..."

Jack chuckled... she was correct on a few points, wrong on the others and on the last he seriously didn’t care. He had his handful of scares, from his missing finger that was re attached, so the various knife wounds, to the time he nearly died, to the branding of L on his body in various places, he lost count of where she carved her initials into his flesh. His tattoo covered the majority of them.

“You’re right, I do want her, I do have feelings for her, I do think I stand a chance, I don’t know the first thing about Kevala, nor do I care. As for her marks, meh... nothing special. Big whoop... you want a fucking medal for getting your arse handed to you? This isn’t a fairy tale fucked up shit happens, we work with it and we get over it... the fact that you’re even here is a joke.. you’re a joke.. You’re a pathetic excuse for an alter ego.. fuck ... no wonder Kevala’s kept you under lock and key for so long in comparison to her you’re nothing.”

Jack wouldn’t finish there.. he was having too much fun, tearing into his new play thing.

“Also judging by the handy work the people who gave you those scars are armatures. Alexandra and Conrad were fucking genius’ when it came to torture and everything I know I learned from them. Fuck... it sends shivers down my spine, there’s nothing better than beating down on your victim before you slice them to bits. I bet you don’t even know the first thing about torture, that you’re role the fucking hard nut?”

"You are nothing more than something to pass the time. Pathetic really. Bet you think only of yourself....Like all the other assholes she has been with."

“No fucking shit... everything we do is just a pass time... from the day we’re born to the day we die we fill our life with shit. What’s the purpose? to pass the time... and you’re right, I only think of myself... and that’s why I came today.. to ensure that the person I care about is safe. Because I know that without her my existence here has no purpose and I was better off staying in New York killing people for shits and gigs.”

He would pause giving her a challenging stare. Standing to his full height now.

“Don’t think for a second I value your existence... whether or not you’re in her body... I will not let you leave her as you are.. even if I have to beat you into submission.”

"Now if you will excuse me Plaything...I must attend to the matter of destroying that which you hold so dear...."

“you know this isn’t the first time I’ve dealt with people’s alter egos and you know the one thing that experience has taught me. You all share the same physical weaknesses. Look at yourself... you’re far from being in a perfect state. Judging by the way you’re talking and acting you’re in a lot of pain right now. I bet Kevala’s fighting you, trying to get out... fucking with the way you’re thinking. You honestly think you can get past me? “

"Seriously do you ever shut the fuck up? Gah I thought my brain was gonna melt having to listen to all that bullshit."

Jack rubbed his temples with his right hand. What had he provoked, his long winded rant was meant to serve one purpose and that was to get a better understanding of the girl through her response. Yep... he’s dealing with a bitch.

"Are you just cranky because you haven't had a dick shoved in you for a few months now?"

"You really know nothing do you? I may not know what you consider good torture, but trust me I have had my fair share. Tell me about torture when you have dealt with Gabriel Seran in a situation such as that. The man is a monster....Pure and simple."

"Ah Gabriel, Green eyes, dark brown hair roughly six foot two, his body's like steel.. he's an exceptional fighter, who has no faults that I can see. He's the perfect well rounded combatant, both in experience and skill, however in the eyes of monsters like Stein and Ark I see nothing in him that resembles them in the slightest. Maybe he’s a different type of monster but he’s not like them"

Jack’s glare would scan Kevala again, maybe this new, her, would be his entertainment for the night. He couldn’t help but flash his teeth at her next statement, that sinister grin coming back. He knew deep down what was about to come, even though he didn’t want to admit it.

"Look you big moron. I know well that I am in pain, I know I am restricted by her limitations physically. But then, I know you are debating on how badly you will have to beat my ass to get me to get me to give in. But even weak, I believe she is still stronger than you, smarter too by the looks of it. So if you wish to push me then I will be more than happy to push back."

“Well... the ball’s in your court I got all night..”

"Hmm.....Havent had sex in awhile? Gee let me think. If I am not mistaken you have been fucking this body every chance your perverted hands can get ahold of it. You must just be too stupid to realize that when you fuck her you fuck me. Or did you already forget that we share a body? I mean, yeah, with limited brain function I would not be surprised."

Jack chuckled again, Jack was learning more about Sasha as this continued, so they shared all if not some memories between them. This could be valuable and dangerous, both to his current situation and after with Kevala. From now on he would have to choose his words a little more carefully.

“You may share the same body, but until now I was not sure to what extent your memories went between each other. Tell me how much of Kevala’s memories can you access and how many of yours can she access in return? Are you completely separate personas or is this just a split in your psyche?”

Jack would wait for Sasha to answer his question, one which for the first time had been one of the few genuine things he’s said.

"Mmm....I don't know who it is you speak of and I do not care. All I know, is for all your trying, it is Gabriel that seems to make Kev's heart race, make her weak. It is him that can bring her down with a single touch. All this while letting her know she can never have him. Yet still she lingers. Do you think you have that much hold on her?"

Jack would shrug, opening up his palms.

“Isn’t that only a question that you and Kevala have the answer to? I make do with what I have, I work at things if in the end it all works out it was because it was meant to be. If whatever reason this” Jack would gesture to his surroundings “doesn’t work out, then it was because of her not me, get it?”

Jack’s brow rose once again, humoured by the direction Kevala/Sasha was going in.

“Uhh the exit’s that way”

Jack would point behind him, the rest of the building had been on lock down.

"Yeah, cause you know, I am sooo wanting to tell YOU about me and my connection to Kev."

"If you're going to kill yourself what should it matter to you. Come I just want to know one tiny bit of information before you off yourself.

Jack chuckled as she continued to walk away. The irritation obvious, he was getting to her. It wouldn't be long until she gave him what he wanted he always got what he wanted, through sheer persistence.

"For your information. I do not have to leave this place to kill Kevala, I just have to find something here to do the job with. I am sure I will manage. Thanks."

"Oh?"

Jack watched as she reached into her pocket, her hand falling on something of interest. Jack had closed the distance between them, now standing off to the side. While he didn't see the initial strike it became obvious what had happened very quickly, the smell of blood filled the air and that little demon within him cried. At the same time Jack's heart skipped a beat it would seem he had lost control of the situation if he indeed ever had any. Then just out of nowhere a sinister thought came to mind something that would land him what he wanted. Sasha gone and Kevala back, he would be damned if the last moments he shared with Kevala were through Sasha's mind.

Jack watched as the dark blood poured down her arm, it was a light cut yet a long one, it had not cut any main artery or veins. It was an opener so to speak. A few light cuts before the final slash that would end it all. Jack knew what he had to do as soon as she placed the knife away Jack would speak up again.

"Give me the knife I'll do it."

The expression on Jack's face showed no lies, he would stab her. There was no ulterior motives he would stab her and it would hurt, he would give her what she wanted but he wouldn't let Sasha take her own life. It would be the greatest injustice to Kevala, something that he as her captain could simply not let happen. There was a special part of hell that was reserved for those who took their own lives. No he would give a warrior of Kevala’s caliber a death she deserved by the hand of another warrior it his own hand and no one else’s.

“You have nothing to lose, let me do it.”

"So willing to be rid of her? Tsk tsk. Well you can go to hell because this is my task. Not yours. "

“You’re all talk and no show. What does it matter, your victory? You’re dead there is no victory in death, no glory in failure. There is only one way to attain glory that’s death by another’s hand.”

Sasha may or may not be debating about whether or not Jack was doing this for the title. Deep down she would know the answer, Jack had no desire to be school captain nor would he ever. As long as Kevala was his captain he would forever stand by her and protect her. He had formed this bond not long ago yet it had grown to be one of his most powerful drives.

“So what? What do you have to lose” Jack would pick up a rock throwing it long and hard at the school building the rock penetrated the window and long and sharp shards of glass fell to the ground. “If for whatever reason I don’t go through with it, someone of your calibre would no doubt be able to defeat me. After all you were so adamantly sure not too long ago. Or you could just waltz on over there and find a nice large piece of glass and finish it yourself.”

Jack would stand his ground his eyes locking with Sasha’s his sinister evil nature showing his true colours. He didn’t care about Sasha’s life infact he wished she never existed but she did and she was the only thing stopping Jack taking Kevala somewhere safe. He would not fail his duty.
