School was of course second nature to Guy as he streamed through the halls at top speed, apparently earlier today the decision had been passed to have a school mascot, now he wasn't sure of the specifics but he was damn well sure he'd get the scoop and if the time called for it he'd find a person to fit the suit.
Sprinting at top speed formally made off by the track team Guy pursued his way through the halls till he reached the gym. His hunched over exterior concealed by a plaid button up he flipped up over his head. Yes plaid was camouflage in this day and age perhaps better suited than an ivy covered trash bin but he had to work with what he had.
The boy lingered in the hall right by the changing rooms keeping avid lookout for the delivery his camera poised at the ready aiming down his sights to capture the images. Yes he'd get this one for sure.

Why was she here again?
Oh yeah, Guy had asked her to meet him here later and being that he was like her best friend she had agreed. Not that she had any desire to hang out in front of the girls changing room and wait for whatever he was up to, but at the same time she thought it may be fun.
She knew he was doing something for the paper, which was his new passion. Apparently despite her dislike of Kevala the girl had given him something that made him happy or at the very least excited.....So Astrid could not complain too much.
Making her way through the halls, just in her usual t-shirt and jeans she made her way to the meeting spot, eyes falling on Guy as he positioned himself there, apparently ready to snap racey photos of whoever dared to cross his path.
Little photo ninja.....
She smiled, shaking her head as she made her way toward him, sneaking up behind him and then reaching out to poke him in the ribs on either side of his body.
"Boo!"
A little laugh as she leaned up against the wall then and kept her eyes focused on him.
"What are you up to now?"
Her grin still present on her lips as she tilted her head slightly, not bothering with the bit of dark locks that fell into her eyes.

She was asked to meet at the girl's change room. They weren't kidding when they say cheer leaders were popular. Well... Dylan would rather not be classified as a cheer leader...she still only really joined it because it was so foreign to her... and it looked like she could have fun with it... Even if the majority of the girls were bitches and judged any outfit Dylan wore... heck she was sure they judged her when she was wearing clothes they would wear saying shit like. "Look at her try to be us." FUCK THAT I'm not trying to be like them.Least Jayr was the nice one out of the pack. But any way..... back to the task at hand. She entered in her usual trashy outfits that she found on sale some where or another. Think she got the shirt at an American souvenir shop....that was kind of expensive....but whatever she liked it. She looked around and found two people...two people had yet to meet before. Okay.... Maybe... she had to meet them.... Who knew... So she approached them and gave a little wave..unsure if she had the right people... BOY will she look foolish if they weren't. "Guy?" her voice was in a questioning tone...double check  |

Interrupting Starfish!
Jayr had been stressing out a bit today, routine's not going exactly as planned and she tended to be somewhat neurotic when it came to things not going exactly as planned. Though could you blame someone with a case of OCD a mile wide? Despite it all she still put off the happy, bouncy girl facade dressing somewhat nerdy for today but despite the imagery on the shirt chances are people would never focus on anything but her curves. A smile barely visible as her lips parted Jayr would exit the girl's changing room ignoring the simple chatter between who's hot and who's not now feeling as though there was some form of competition going on between the girl's that Jayr was rightfully excluded from.
She simply giggled to herself once out of harms way and followed the court-lines across the Gym to the other exit noticing Dylan there just steps ahead of her. A wide grin and a skipping motion as she caught up to the girl and stepped on the heel of her shoe to short stop her before noticing the others there.
"Oh hi sorry did I jump in on something?"

"Gufuh!!!" Right in the sensitive spot under the ribs as Guy would jump a whole inch scuttling his hands to evade dropping the camera on the floor, there was no need to go shattering a worthwhile lens. Though this one wasn't exactly his it was loaned out to hims by momma so it carried some sentimental value let alone its worth would mean he'd be in the stocks of the home for a good eight months or more working off repaying the thing. Retrieving such a glorified item Guy's hands gripping the camera close in a defensive manner.
"What are you up to now?"
"Um well I heard word that they were finding someone to jump inside the mascot suit and I figured it'd be an awesome scoop."
Guy would smile boyishly all too animated by the prospects of getting to be saddled up in a Griffin suit. How cool would that be, he supposed the lucky bastard getting hooked up with that job would get bolded print in his paper.
"Guy?"
The boy would almost jump back into Astrid's arms when the surprise face appeared. That was odd, a girl talking to him! He went red in the face smiling all too widely to be natural as he bashfully gawked.
"Oh hi sorry did I jump in on something?"
Oh gawd another! Guy shifted his gaze between the two quickly before relieving a large sigh and falling back nearly unconscious into Astrid's grip should she catch him.

Astrid could not help but laugh a bit as he jumped. She was so happy to have found that spot. Good way to get his butt moving. A grin on her lips as she leaned into the wall, rolling her eyes as he spoke.
"Nothing to do with their busts huh?"
Shaking her head she just relaxed there, not sure why the hell she had to be here. She was not all to popular with the cheerleader crowd which was something she was more than thankful for.
Then another voice drug her attention away from Guy and into the direction of a very.....uncheerleader like girl. Her brow raising just slightly, though nothing said. 1) The girl was not talking to her....2) She was not one to judge the way somebody dressed.
Yet then another voice entered the scenario and honestly it had the same affect on Astrid that nails on a chalkboard had...Why was she not surprised to see Jayr here? Hmmm......Yeah...
Though before she could try and even think to make an excuse to leave she noted the way Guy was reacting to them, that redness in his cheeks very clear and a little snicker escaping her. Of course that was before he would actually ........ did he just.....faint? Srsly.......
Her arms shooting out and catching him as she shook her head once more and sighed....lowering herself to the ground along with him......Like she was gonna stand there holding him up. Pft....
Lightly she would poke at his chest. Her brow raised as she continued to grin down at him.
"Hey Mr. Cool. You may wanna get up before you blow your cover."

The boy jumped when she asked him if he was Guy... 'Cause well... they all planned a little something. Though.... it did catch her off guard he jumped.... then She looked behind to see who had stepped on her heals... giving a smile to her fellow cheer captain.
"Hey. Um... no I don't think you didn't run in on something...."
Once greeting her friend she would look over at the third girl in the party with a smile...who had caught Guy when he fell into her arms... Odd... but who was she to blame. "Is this the one?" Dylan would smile pointing at the black haired girl...asking Guy the question. She wasn't really low key on secrets....they weren't here thing.
She would hold out her hand for the girl to take if she so wished. "Hi... I'm Dylan."

Plans coming in order "Hey. Um... no I don't think you didn't run in on something...."
A wide brimmed smile lighting Jayr's face as she came up along beside Dylan matching her stride before stopping before the group of unbeknownst peons. Well at the very least Guy was informed of their plans if only because Jayr and Dylan had done a bit of speaking with him through email. Though in his present case it was probably best they should have kept things that way.
"Is this the one?"
Jayr would nod quickly her wide smile appearing almost devilish as she schemed dark witted plans of her essential victory. She would have her girl squadron if it was the last thing she did. And ever since seeing Astrid's girly side she'd secretly wanted it.
"Yup this is the one."
"Hi... I'm Dylan."
A quick impatient glance between those meeting for the first time before she stepped forward to take action be it a bold stride forward or not as she'd part the ways between them. Now was optimal time seeing as Guy was potentially unconscious.
"Astrid, we'd like you to do your part for the school if you don't mind." A perky wide smile as she didn't say what needed to be done but rather let her assume. If she assumed the worse it'd be better if they didn't give the girl the worse she had in mind. |

Caught up in the grip of his savior, Astrid, before once again being dropped to the floor. In the slightly inebriated state Guy was at the mercy of his blood flow and seeing how it did not want to go into his legs or brain right now he had to suffer being weighed down by a larger part of his anatomy thusly remaining on the floor in a tangled state.
"Hey Mr. Cool. You may wanna get up before you blow your cover."
"Mehmernafwanna..." In other words attempting to tell her to help him up but once again his mouth was not agreeing with him which was quite unfortunate when Dylan stepped forward to introduce herself.
Course when he'd arranged this little meeting over the live school chat he didn't get to see first hand account, of course he knew cheerleaders were supposed to be attractive but he didn't suspect that they'd floor him without the slightest touch.
"Hi... I'm Dylan."
"Hiyagdgd, Isfnskf Guysnkfmnsk." He mumbled out from the floor making an effort to extend a lanky hand up from the ground glittering as another showed up by her side only persisting in forcing Guy to remain in his seated position.

Astrid stopped in her teasing of Guy as she heard their cryptic words. The one? Her brow raising slightly. Who the hell were they talking about? Eyes shooting down to Guy, none to happy with the feeling she was getting. That nagging feeling in the back of one's mind that screams set up. Her eyes leaving him to look at the other girl, her hand reaching to shake her's, though not at all very willingly.
"Astrid."
As she drew her hand back, she would look toward Guy as he spoke again, rolling her eyes at his failed attempt to introduce himself. Slowly she hooked her arms under his in order to help him to his feet, leaning in to press her lips near his ear, a soft not to nice whisper leaving her as she kept her eyes on the other two.
"I swear to god if you set me up for something I will kick your ass...."
He should have known by now that it was not true, she didn't fight unless she had to. But that did not mean she would not make his life living hell. Like........no more stolen meals to take to him. Gah!
Keeping her arm around his lower back, making sure he didn't fall flat on his ass again, she would then turn her attention toward the pair of ......... girls.......Eyes narrowing on Jayr slightly...
"Alright. Out with it. What do you want?"
Clearly not amused with games such as these. The only thing keeping her here right now was the fact that Guy was sorta out of it.....Once he was steady she was gone.

Dylan smiled when the girl shook her hand. Astrid? That was a different name... Meh... she had a boys name who was she kidding? Just as Astrid released her hand Guy had come up with his hand from the ground to shake hers..introducing himself. She smiled and let out a quick exhale that would pass off as a "unsure laugh". She would take her hand back and put them behind her back as she wiped them on the back of her shirt from his clammy hands.
"Astrid, we'd like you to do your part for the school if you don't mind."
The girl looked very unsure of the situation... though she did have right. A nerdy dude and two cheer leaders were cornering her and she had no idea why. Dylan would smile as well..as much chirp as Jayr had.
"Alright. Out with it. What do you want?"
"We think that you will look really cute in..." she reached for her gym bag that had her new cheer leading outfit inside and grabbed hold of a photo... a photo of a costume. "A griffin suit!" she would hold up the picture so the raven haired girl could get a good look at what they were going to try and get her into.
"What'aya say?"

Do or Die Scenario Jayr would find herself nervously bouncing on her heels unconsciously slightly bobbing next to Dylan nudging her shoulder peevishly expecting the girl to be the first to break the news because they already knew if Jayr was to step forward with the invitation it'd have an 'or else' attached.
"Alright. Out with it. What do you want?"
"We think that you will look really cute in... A griffin suit!"
The mascot suit held in the small window of the snapshot picture. Wide grins on both their faces in unison coming off as the creepy cheer-leading army of the undead.
"What'aya say?"
"Pleasssseee Astrid,"[/blue] Jayr would return with a clever little smile and pout her eyes fluttering quickly to keep her attention in an unwavering state. |

Held up narrowly by his bffle Guy managed not to look entirely like a babbling idiot probably coming off as a mentally retarded kid with lethargic muscles or even a hyper nerd who'd never seen a girl in his lifetime, or maybe even a hyper perverted kid who masturbated on a daily basis in excess of twelve times.
"I swear to god if you set me up for something I will kick your ass...."
The threatening whisper in his ear bringing his senses back to life as he'd quickly jolt up to a suave standing motion his limp hands coming into his hair to scoop it back into a slicked back greaser style.
"Yup I'm Guy, Nice to meet you lovely ladies in person......"
He'd grin awkwardly in a stupid gawking display. These girls were really hot, he had to find a way to get them into his paper. Yes there had to be a way. Narrowing his eyes he'd bide his time.
"A griffin suit!"
"WOW THATS SOO COOL!"
Guy said quickly finding this the best opportunity, "D'you mind if I take a picture of it for the paper?"
He wouldn't wait for a reply as he drawed the camera aiming it rather low to be aimed at the photograph but rather Dylan's bust. "Okay one more, this time Jayr could you hold it?"

"Cool..."
Yeah he was totally in the clear. Totally.

She heard it, and it took a minute for it to sink in. Letting her hand fall away from Guy, seeing as he was suddenly all better, she lowered her eyes, leaning back against the wall as she bit softly over her lower lip.
Was she actually considering it? No. In fact that was the last thought that entered her mind.
What was on her mind was something completely opposite. See, ever since first meeting Jayr she had been sure the girl was out to get her. Girls like that did not talk to her let alone try to be her friend.
The other girl....Dylan...yeah she didn't know her, so why on earth would she want to have anything to do with Astrid?
It all made sense. Pick on the girl who is the most unlike them. The way it always was.
Usually Astrid would have told them to fuck off, and not have thought too much about it. Not letting it get to her until later when she was alone.
But the third party in this set up, Guy, the one person she THOUGHT she could trust, was the one reason she drew in a deep breath and shook her head. Her tone escaping in a light, forced manner.
"So, everyone have a good laugh? Hope so...Cause I am out of here."
She then pushed away from the wall, making sure to move right up against his shoulder as she shook her head.
"Amazing what a pretty face and a nice rack can do to a guy huh?"
Tears shimmering in her eyes she just reached down, grabbed her bag and started toward the exit......Yeah, she fucking hated cheerleaders, even more so now than before.
Hand shooting up to wipe away any tears that threatened to fall. Like hell she would actually give them more ammo to make fun of her with.

Guy took a bunch of pictures of the two of them holding the picture... what was so special about the picture? It wasn't the actual costume....

Dylan looked up at the girl who was now taking her leave and seemed very upset.

Dylan wasn't making fun of the girl.... That wasn't her cup of tea. Heck... This girl was probably feeling how she felt when she asked to be a cheer leader and was accepted... thought it was some joke... 'cause yeah... they were straight up calling her trailer trash and giggling at her when she was right there.... Of course this girl would take getting picked on differently.. Dylan was the type to shrug it off... she had a very "I don't give a shit" attitude when it came to bullies.... but she didn't like to be one.
From what she got from the internet chat was Astrid would probably want to... but cheer leading would be out of the question 'cause as said..she was a bit of a tom boy.
Dylan would chase after her and grab onto her wrist, but not tight... it was just to make her have pause. "Whoa whoa whoa.... You think I'm making fun of you? I'm the last person to be judging someone..." she would shrug, "The impression I got from the plan was you would probably enjoy it.... and a part of me thought that 'hey...maybe she would want some gal pals.' I'm sorry I came off strong."
