Kazuya sat on the edge of the rooftop, one leg dangling over the edge, his other foot resting on the edge, his knee bent up as he rested his left arm on top his knee while he looked down at the grounds below him, the students walking around just blurs. His wooden bokken and his black Japanese book bag resting beside him, Kazuya's right hand rested behind him keeping him up as he leaned back, as a few clouds drifted along lazily in the blue sky above him. Just like at St. Paragon's, Point Hope High, Public High School #42, #259, and Victory Heights College, Kazuya had pretty much claimed the rooftop as his own, mostly because very few came up here, most people would want to hang out with their friends, not go to a rooftop by themselves.
Only people like Kazuya would come up here. Kazuya wasn't exactly Mr. Social Butterfly, but he wasn't a lone wolf either, he was pretty content being by himself, though he didn't mind having company. Crowds weren't his thing. He didn't mind a small group though, he just didn't like being around a gigantic group of people. And, the noise in the school was enough to blast his eardrums to kingdom come. A gentle breeze blew his front hair slightly, as the edges of his black trench coat fluttered slightly from the breeze, as Kazuya casually ran a hand through his jet black hair, as he looked up at the blue sky above him.

K[/size]evala had been feeling a bit off lately. She had been having this craving for something and for the life of her she could not figure out what it was.
It was the strangest thing to. She had been sleeping good for once, and had managed to put a lock on Sasha..Everything was fine, but something still seemed to be missing. Was it the sudden appearance of Spike? No, that was not it.......
Grumbling to herself she made her way to the roof, too out of it to really deal with classes right now....She was in need of some time to think and usually the best place to do that was on the roof.
Making her way up to the roof, she pushed the door open and then pulled her shades down over her eyes, a soft sigh passing her lips as she stepped out into the fresh air and looked about. Those icy hues falling onto a familiar face and a smile curling onto her lips.
"Did not expect to see you here? Thought everyone from 259 was gone...Or at least off to bigger and better things."
She moved and took a seat upon the ledge, her arms crossing over her chest.

Kazuya's eyes flared momentarily in surprise the moment he heard a voice behind him as he shifted his head to the side slightly to look behind him, as a smirk slowly formed on his face. "... Well you know me, I like to surprise people." He replied, as his head moved while he saw her move and sit down on the ledge beside him. He hadn't expected to see any familiar faces here either, especially since he was in university now. "Talk about a coincidence, seeing you here... or maybe not. There's no such thing as coincidences, only destiny... well, to me at least."
Kazuya pulled his shades down, as he peered at her from the corner of his eye, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "... You can't get rid of me that easily... unless you don't want me here? I'm hurt, really." He teased, as he pretended to look hurt. Despite his changed appearance, and the fact he looked just as fierce and intense, Kazuya was still the same, at least, it seemed like it. A lot had happened to him recently, and most of it were not exactly the greatest moments. And some wounds still ran quite deep, and not the physical kind. "... It's been a while," Kazuya said, a wise guy grin on his face, "Kevala."

She kept her eyes on the people below as he spoke, shrugging softly as she brushed her tongue over her bottom lip. Such a bad habit.......
Either way when he was done she would sigh and reach up, pushing her hair back out of her face as she let her hand fall once more to grip the ledge of the roof, thoughts running through her mind of what it would be like to just.....let go.....
Yeah she thought about it all the time, but she never did, because despite the scars on her wrist as a constant reminder of her one weakness, she was not about to give up that easily. She had things she had to take care of in this life before she poofed...
"Destiny perhaps, perhaps not. I really dont believe in destiny anymore......"
That heated anger at Gabriel rising in her chest. Him, Katsu, Victor, Spike......all of them had just up and left her as though she was nothing........emotions of pain and hurt emitting from her as a result of that bracelet that she wore......Though she did not care....Anyone who knew her knew what Gabriel had done...or at least they should have.......
It had been the final straw for her....and she was not going back now......despite how much she wanted to for Mischa.......
"So, what is your plan here huh?"
Well everyone here had some kind of plan it seemed, might as well find out his.....

"... As you like. Everyone is entitled to their own outlook on life." Kazuya replied nonchalantly, as he casually shoved his hands into his pockets, his front gray hair falling just barely into his eyes. Much had happened over the past two years... to both of them. Some that Kazuya wanted to forgot, but couldn't... or maybe, he didn't want to forget. A momentary twinge of pain stabbed Kazuya's heart as he reflected on the past momentarily, before locking it back up once more, looking back on those memories was like opening up Pandora's Box, it wouldn't end very well. Some faces he hadn't seen in a long time, Drea, Mitsukai, David... but most of all... her... But not because they had left him behind, it was because he had left them behind, when he had graduated and left Long Beach for university.
"...?" Kazuya peered at Kevala from the corner of his eye, before shifting his gaze forward once more, as he looked back up at the blue sky. "... Get through university, and hopefully not get my ass kicked by some idiot who thinks he's all-powerful enough to rip the entire school down and bring the walls down around our ears." Kazuya replied, half-serious, half-joking. Partly because he met up with a few people who had that idea back at Public High School #259. Pretty basic plan, he was planning to earn a Degree in Business. "... How about you? What's your plans? Met anyone you like?" He asked, more interested in the former question than the latter question, her private life, was her own, it was completely up to her if she wanted to tell him or not, it didn't matter to him either way.

She sat there, her mind wandering as she looked down on the ground below. Gods to have peace...Just for one moment in life...but just as her mind went there it was drawn back by the sounds of the voice beside her....
Shaking her head she turned and looked at him. Shrugging softly as she thought it over....She was really not all to secretive about her plans for the future...they were something she personally saw nothing wrong with..But then she was insane soooo yeah...
"Umm..pretty much find out what happened to Gabriel and Victor and the rest of the group that fucked me over and make their lives a living hell. Or kill them. Have not decided yet."
She smiled, almost innocently...cause yeah...SHE WAS NUTS...but whatever....then as she spoke up once more she still had that cheery little attitude about her, as though she had not a care even though she was just thinking about death a few moments before....
"I moved here with Mischa, but things....well they went bad.....Mostly due to myself...I have since met Devon who seems to be able to contain whatever it is that controls me."
Hell if she knew what was wrong with her...She was just sure that he was the only one who could handle it...Heh....Turning back she looked over the ground once more.....
"Ever wonder what it would be like to just....have peace....forever....?"
Yeah odd question but look at who he was talking to.

At this point in time, nothing surprised Kazuya, not even hearing one of his friends talk about making a few of his old friend's lives a living hell should she ever find them, or kill them. Whichever came first. That was how blunted Kazuya had become. Not even the potential act of killing people in cold blood and making it sound like he had just asked here what time it was fazed him, especially with her smiling so innocent like. Compared to her, Kazuya was a freakin' gentleman, seeing as he had no qualms with hurting others, but to casually mention being undecided about making someone's life miserable or offing someone, and being undecided about which one to choose, and continue to sound cheery like killing was absolutely nothing and she didn't have a single care in the world. Now that was freakin' nuts alright.
Kazuya listened rather patiently, even though the people she mentioned, he had absolutely no clue as to who they were, though it was pretty obvious that Kevala swung both ways when it came to a relationship. Not that Kazuya cared, at the point in time, being in a relationship with a girl was the LAST thing on his mind. All he cared about was getting stronger, simple as that. Though her situation did sound a bit like Mitsukai's, though in Kevala's case, he wasn't even sure, nor did he care, if she had an alter ego like Mitsukai does. "... Well no more having to deal with people who have way too much time and too much ego for their own good, for one thing. But if I wanted peace, I would've just stayed in Japan, instead of going halfway around the world just to go to high school and graduate." Kazuya replied, as he stretched his arms above his head, hearing his joints crack a little from having sat in the same spot for almost the entire time. "... Peace seems pretty scarce these days, high school or university. We never get a damn break..."
